InterContinental accommodation in Fuzhou

Perhaps it was due to various conferences and events, but there were quite a few people. Chloe at check-in was incredibly efficient and even left her contact information so we could reach out with any questions. I've always trusted the InterContinental brand, and throughout our stay, everyone from the security guard at the entrance, to the bellhop, housekeeping staff, and the cleaning ladies in the restaurant, all demonstrated excellent service quality. The only minor drawback was the room temperature. The air conditioning is centrally controlled, and perhaps because we were on the top floor, it was incredibly hot! So hot I questioned my existence! Chloe helped us contact housekeeping to quickly bring a portable air conditioner, and then sent up more bottled water, also reminding us to be careful of temperature changes so we wouldn't catch a cold. Although things improved, the overall experience wasn't as perfect as it could have been. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a subway station, just a two-stop ride to Sanfang Qixiang. It's also a short taxi ride to Shangxiahang. Directly across from the hotel is a Yonghui Supermarket with a good selection of ready-to-eat food, perfect if you want a change from Fujian cuisine.
