Here you'll find the Bob Evans Farm and Homestead Museum. Rio Grande is also the home of the October Bob Evans Farm Festival and the University of Rio Grande. Just a short drive from the Ohio River is Pt. Pleasant, WV which offers a variety of Farm and Homestead Museums such as John Gee Black Museum, Our House Museum, Pt. Pleasant River Museum, WV State Farm Museum, River Museum and the Waterfront Amphitheater that host several musical events. This is also the area of the Mothman. Just off State Route 7 along the Ohio River Scenic Byway is Pomeroy which plays host to the Big Band Blues Bash, the Annual Goldings and Ribs Festival. After all of this if you still have free time, stop by the Wayne National Forest that offers several trails for hiking.

This small two story home was built in 1900. Updates through the years have not lost the charm. This two bedroom and two full bath home has plenty of room for a traveling family or professionals for business. Decorated in all new retro style interior, it takes you to a time of peace and tranquil. The time period is 1955-early 60’s. Teals, reds, yellows and other rich colors throughout brighten your day. There are a few choice pieces from our past that we just had to place in the home. Next door are two other of our places. You can walk to the downtown area for views of the river or ratios that are locally owned mom and pop. Sit on the front porch or relax on the back deck. Everything is included for your stay but your food and clothes. Visit this site for all 8 of our places. Beth and JerryYou need to know that the claw foot tub upstairs is currently being re plumbed, and not able to be used. We had it working , but the hot water won’t work. Shower is in the bathroom on the first floor. Sink and toilet does work upstairs. It is suggested if you have children to use extreme caution, due to proximity to the river and road. The home also has steps. No parties are permitted, nor smoking or vaping.
