Hotel El Rancho

The room was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was incredibly tiny. I guess historically it was accurate in size. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! The staff was friendly and provided excellent service in all areas. It was a pleasant stay and I would definitely stay there again. It’s a lovely hotel.

Me and my husband enjoyed our stay. Our room was comfortable and clean. The bed was soft and we both slept well. I mentioned to him this morning, how quiet it was all night and this morning. Much different from home. We both were happily surprised by the quietness. The bathroom was very small! However, it was as such to keep to the originally of the hotel, which we both appreciated. The staff were all very pleasant and friendly. The restaurant was nice. Food was okay. We hope to make this a destination we can spend more time at in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at El Rancho! We stayed in the old part of the hotel where the rooms are named after movie stars who stayed in them. The room was cleverly decorated to fit the theme. The halls are also filled with photos of movie stars who stayed there .The lobby and sitting area is spectacularly appointed with a Western theme and interesting artifacts. We took an interesting and informative tour of the hotel with Leroy who told us a lot about it's history. Don't forget to try to find the book in the bookcase that opens the door to secret room if you stay there!
