Hotel the Grand Shivay

This was the worst hotel experience of our lives. The room smelled strongly of smoke as soon as we entered. Bedsheets, pillowcases, and runners were dirty and stained. The sofa had cigarette burns, and there were cigarette butts in the corners of the room. The headboard looked like it had been chewed by rodents and was extremely dirty. The washroom smelled horrible, the carpet near the bed was filthy, and the closet was stained. The key card did not work properly, which added to the frustration. Staff behaviour was shocking and completely unprofessional, staff members were sleeping on the lobby floor, lying on the main reception table with their feet on top of it, and walking barefoot around the hotel. The worst part: there were lizards running around inside the room. When we returned later that night, there were multiple cockroaches as well. We did not safe staying there. Absolutely unacceptable conditions. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Room 305 WAS HORRIFIC.

The stay was decent for a hotel in the outskirts of the city. However, things would have been better if the washroom did not have the sewage smell constantly. It was very bad because of the sewage smell coming out every time we used the washroom. The food was average and nothing to be excited about. The staff were polite and helpful though

Absolutely amazing and hassle free. The hotel staff were extremely kind and generous. Had come for the coldplay show and had a slight fear that the hotel might cancel last min since we got the room cheaper before all the prices were inflated but they were perfect and had no issues whatsoever.

One of the worst hotels. They’ve no control over the hotel and no response to the customer as well. Terrible.

The room is very nice and spacious. As is the balcony. I like the location as it's conveniently located between ahmedabad and gandhinagar. Easy to commute between two cities as i had to. The staff is also very nice and polite. Not much choice in food, but you can order online as there are tons of eateries around. This was my second visit and i'll definitely stay there again.

It was really gr 8 experience the room was big and management was supportive and its in good location.

Excellent stay and delicious food and with good parking space should offer complimentary breakfast

Property is really good and very friendly staff. They helped us in everything from start to end and helped us to manage our luggage as well

A trip to watch the greatest rivalry world cup match between ind and pak. Although prices were 5 times higher due to worldcup. This stay was awesome which is located at highway and 20 mins distance from motera.
