Park Hotel Oasi ★★★★
"Dreadful. Very dated. Shabby Miniscule shower On a plus bar staff were lovely. The waiting staff in the 'restaurant not so much. Given a time for dinner. Had to pre order food at breakfast. Which I hate! Thus is supposed to be 4 stat it's more like a 1 star and I'm being generous. Long walk in the town itself however a local shuttle bus runs regularly and it's free. Breakfast was fine with a wide selection of foods. Evening meals were disappointing. Fish or some sort of meat or veggie option.First course pasta or soup. All flavourless. Overall very disappointing 😞 ."
Hotel Excelsior le Terrazze ★★★★
"Very nice comfortable and clean hotel. Lake view is magnificent. Nice breakfast. Good parking. Excellent position. Pool is not big but enough. Needs better pillows selection."
Hotel du Parc ★★★★
"A pretty disappointing experience overall. The property is very old and very n urgent need of renovation and repairs. Eg. Hot tub outside doesn’t work, ac was out of order, etc. The pictures they use to advertise are not reflective of the current state of the property. The staff are not very friendly and border on rude. We had dinner there and I am pretty sure the dessert was spoiled."
Hotel Alla Torre ★★★
"We stayed for 4days 3nights in this hotel and overall I’d say it’s 4/5 stars however none really affect the hotel. Hotel whereabouts: Hotel is in an amazing spot about 30seconds from the lake front surrounded by shops but is never crowded by the entrance. The checking in/reception is separate to the hotel which is a little confusing however is explained on the entrance to the hotel. Also the little shop right next to the hotel will help direct you. Facilities: AC is incredible especially being out all day and also on the humid days. However we found it made quite a bit of noise at night, not the hotels fault. The TV oh my. Constantly loosing signal and turning off very frustrating when trying to watch the England play in the World Cup lol. Again this could be down to the location and bad signal or an older version of a TV? Due to being apart of another hotel (linked to the building you check in/out with) we are able to use the pool tables free, use the rooftop for sunbathing and 10% off at dinners in there restaurant. Hairdryer provided is very weak in case you debate bringing your own. Also in case your wondering if from the UK you’ll need to purchase a plug to use sockets as different plugs Had a live orchestra on the square behind the hotel where you could sit on the shared balcony’s that each floor had to watch! -1 star: Not really the hotel at fault but few things that was not great. One being the loud water from AC and bathroom. Another for the loud noises would be who we thought were the cleaners. Now this was ridiculous loud, loud banging slamming of doors constantly. However I will say the walls are incredibly thin and the bell that rings above the hotel sounds like it’s in the room with you. The shops below and restaurants bringing in and out there things is loud also so again not the hotels fault really. Ants!: Lastly would be that we had many ants in our room. On our bed, under skirting boards under window and our bathroom. I thought maybe we had brought them in but I seen 3-5 gathering and returning to under the window in a gap. We did report this to the receptionist at the time to a man called Luca. Luca was really apologetic about this and requested someone attend to it in the morning as we noticed a lot more had returned when we arrived back from being out and this was quite late. In the morning when we went into the other hotel for breakfast my partner spoke to a lady in reception about the situation. She said she was aware and that loads of ants in your bed, floor and bathroom is normal? I’m not sure about that. The man did actually come and investigate the ant infestation in the morning and then said he’d return once we had gone out so he wasn’t in our way. If they did this I don’t know as we saw some still when we returned later."
Hotel Royal ★★★
"I wasn’t expecting the Ritz but neither was I expecting the Pits . This hotel needs bulldozing. Completely out of date . Maids did a good job keeping the room clean . The evening meals left a lot be desired. The restaurant staff were only interested in looking after the non British customers. My advice is if you are thinking of booking this hotel Don’t . You have been warned."
Sky Pool Hotel Sole Garda ★★★★
"We stayed for 10 days at the Skypool Hotel, Garda. The hotel is in an excellent location, a few minutes walk to the shops and bars, 5 minutes to the harbour front and 5 minutes to the bus station. We booked half board, which is unusual for us. and intended to dine out 2 or 3 times. However, the quality of the food and service (dinner was table service) meant that we ate every night in the hotel. The restaurant staff, Marian, Ana, Angela, Daniela, and Labib, were so attentive, efficient, and friendly. A great asset to the hotel. Reception staff were also very friendly and efficient. Our room was pleasant and clean. The only downside was the outlook from the balcony. which overlooked the next building, although we did have a side view of the mountains. The rooftop bar, pool, and sunbeds were great, and the weather was excellent. Garda is a great base for ferry and bus trips to the lakeside towns and Verona. All in all, this was one of our best holidays. We saw a lot, but also had time to relax with a few glasses of Valpolicella, Bardolino, and Soave. We would highly recommend this hotel."
Hotel Marco Polo ★★★
"Moldy, dirty, beetles, broken, small, old, outdated, poor or non-existent Wi-Fi – absolutely not recommended. Two rooms viewed and always the same (mold on the ceiling and beetles in the room and bed)."
Hotel Conca d'Oro ★★★
"All good! They also take care for our bikes. 👍"
Poiano Garda Resort Hotel ★★★★
"Just back from a mini break at this wonderful resort. We had an apartment with breakfast and we were in block D- high up the hill. This gave fabulous views and total peace but the trek was tough for me. So I called on Fabio with his golf buggy a lot and cannot praise him enough for his help. He also introduced us to lalaterna restaurant just outside the resort gates. Do go and make sure you are really hungry. It is where the locals go to eat and portions are huge and delicious. The resort was clean and gardens beautiful. Breakfast was lovely but we were disappointed that to eat in the evening there was only a set price 3 course dinner. We had no issues with the free shuttle bus into town and all staff were cheerful and helpful. Loved it. Loved Fabio most of all. He is an asset to the resort."

Hotel Cortina
"Superb hotel in old town Garda If you prefer small family owned clean and simple hotel in the heart of old town Garda - Cortina is the best choise for you 👌 Rooms are quite small with a small balconys, but the narrow street of old town would be your balcony 😍 just open the back door and you are in ! Both boat and bus terminal are a few steps away from hotel so it is very easy to travel without a car also. If you prefer to explore Lake Garda and other part of north Italy ( f.e Dolomites 😍) by car the hotel will arrange you a parking place as well. Breakfast was marvellous as many people has mentioned earlier also - they serve part of it to tables and part of it is self service. You live with it almost whole day. And the last but not least must mention the owner Luigi, very friendly and helpful boss who works almost round the clock to please his customers ❤️ Thank u Luigi and your family and staff BR Marja & Laura from Finland"

Tobago
"We had booked two nights at the Tobago Hotel in Garda and arrived around 5pm on Friday. The receptionist explained some banal things that were actually all clear. What irritated us was that she insisted that we leave our suitcases at the reception. Someone needed the suitcases into the room. We had specified anti-allergic bed linen as a request when booking, this request was not canceled by the hotel and yet the receptionist explained to us upon arrival that there is no anti-allergic bed linen in this hotel. We drove the car all day and relied on the fact that our wish for anti-allergic bed linen would be fulfilled in this Tobago hotel, as is always the case in every hotel. If the hotel had informed us when making our reservation that anti-allergic bed linen was not possible, we would have canceled the room immediately. Strangely enough, the hotel also informed us by email that we should make a reservation for dinner at the hotel in good time. That was okay. First we went to dinner in Garda. We wanted to have a glass of wine in the restaurant and waited 20 minutes. Since no waiter came, I went to the bar. When asked, a waiter came to the table and handed out a drink menu, but then he didn't come back to take the order. After another 20 minutes of waiting, we went to the room and skipped the wine. In the room we noticed that the bed cover was dirty. And we also found a hair on the blanket. We suspect that the duvet was not changed and was simply left as it was by previous guests. This fits with the fact that there were flip-flops in the hotel room that were kept in a wellness bag and where it was obvious that one pair of the two pairs had already been used because they were dirty flip-flops. We have never experienced this anywhere. We will share pictures of this. Now we were completely without bed linen and had to sleep in thick clothes without a blanket. It was cold in the room at night, so we took the duvet, which caused an allergic reaction in my wife, which manifested itself in a cough and a rash. We spent the rest of the night sitting on the bed with our clothes on. We were excited about breakfast, which we had to tick on an extensive form upon arrival. There may be people who like to do that, but for us it was the level of a spa stay that the health insurance company pays for. We have never experienced this on the many trips we take on a regular basis. The breakfast staff reserved a table for us outside, when the outside temperature was around 12°, and actually thought that we would sit outside. We sat down at a table inside and were served in a not particularly friendly manner. De"
Hotel Bisesti
"Everything was spotless in this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The cleaner in the mornings was very pleasant and did an excellent job of keeping everywhere spotless."
Hotel Villa Anthea
"Have stayed many times at Villa Anthea and have always had a great holiday - central location, room cleaned daily, great breakfast and staff are extremely helpful"
Sporthotel Olimpo
"Wonderful location with a fantastic view of Garda and Lake Garda from the balcony. We stayed in the apartment complex, renovated in 2024. It's a spacious apartment with comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms, air conditioning, and a balcony with a view. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the complex. There's a good pool, always a sunbed available, a delicious cappuccino in the morning, and friendly staff. And it's all within walking distance of the lake and town center. You can enjoy the hustle and bustle, or simply relax at the complex."
Ca' Barbini Resort
"We stayed here for a wind down week after visiting Rome and Venice. What a fantastic hotel! We had a large beautifully furnished room overlooking the terrace/pool with a view of the lake beyond. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (especially Carlotta and Giarda on reception). They arranged flowers and procecco on arrival (it was our honeymoon) and a cake on my birthday, also transfers and tours. The hotel is a little way from the centre of Garda but every time we asked for the free hotel shuttle bus it arrived to pick us up within 5 minutes. It couldn't have been a better stay, and we'd love to come back in future!"
Villa Madrina Lovely and Dynamic Hotel
"Absolutely loved the atmosphere of this hotel. Beautiful gardens, pool and rooms. Great location. Wonderful service. My idea of a perfect hotel."
Regina Adelaide Hotel & Spa
"Stayed at the Regina Adelaide following a recommendation from a friend. We had chosen a loft suite, which was fabulous, 4 sets of doors opening onto the terrace. Lounge area, large bathroom, bedroom, lots of storage, mini fridge safe etc. Terrace was a little disappointing as although lovely and large, with comfy sun loungers, arm chairs and table with dining chairs there was a high solid wall to all sides so once sitting down you could see nothing but wall. The other terraces and balconies all had pretty wrought iron balustrade. The hotel throughout including our room was spotlessly clean. Linens and towels were very high quality and the bed was super comfortable. Hairdryer good, toiletries lovely. Pool and spa were great very contemporary, everything in perfect condition, and spotlessly clean. Amply comfy loungers. Breakfast was lovely, simple menu to order from, then buffet for fresh pastries, delicious freshly prepared fruits, continental style cheeses and hams etc. we sat on the patio each morning which was delightful. We didn’t eat at the hotel in the evening as the menu wasn’t our choice, however lots of guests did and loved it. The restaurant has an excellent reputation. The hotel is traditional in style but that is by choice as there are marble floors such as you’d find in contemporary hotels but they have chosen to cover in traditional rugs and antiques, with contemporary twists such as two super modern style mustard chairs in our room. The traditional style decor is not in any way an indication the hotel is old and rundown, everything is in excellent condition it’s just a decor choice to match the building and the fact the hotel has been there for 60+ years. The location is absolutely perfect, you can access the lake to the front and the pretty little streets to the rear with cafes and shops. We loved walking out of the hotel and going for a nice walk, everywhere is flat and easy to walk or cycle. We had bicycles one evening free of charge from the hotel (nice solid easy to ride, picked up from the main door of the hotel from a lovely man who altered my seat etc ) we cycled along the path around the lake to two adjacent towns which was a round trip of 12km. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful on asking, we found them a little brittle on occasion but that might just our perception. For the price we paid for a suite we felt they were a little mean with little extras such as water. There was one bottle on arrival which was not replaced, there was no fruit or chocolates etc ever left in the room which considering they have their own confectioners at the hotel bakery on site was surprising. Garda was gorgeous, food and drink when out and about was so reasonably priced. Large pizza at lake side restaurants just €10, ice creams €2.50. Highly recommend going in the cable car at Malcesine it was a great morning out. We hired a car from Verona airport. Roads were very easy to drive on and it was more cost ef"
Hotel Miro'
"A return visit to this hotel in Garda after only 8 months, says it all. Excellent hotel situated a couple of minutes walk from the lake. It's family run and they are very friendly. The rooms are lovely and have their own balconies, which you can see the lake from. The breakfast is varied and included in the price. I would definitely recommend staying here while visiting Lake Garda."
Hotel Benaco Garda
"Kind people. Excellent service, delicious breakfast. Nothing was a problem. We asked for a quiet room and we got it without any hesitation. Unfortunately - air conditioning worked only when we were in the room. So it was too hot to fall asleep when we came back from a trip. Parking fee at the hotel is too high. Bike rental is not included in the price of the room."
Hotel Dependance Silvestro
"Good location friendly staff"
La Vittoria Boutique Hotel
"We booked La Vittoria after a bit of internet browsing but it did still feel like a gamble - but we needn’t have worried, it was brilliant. We did have the best room in the hotel in my opinion. We booked a room with lake view and a terrace. We got room 2. It isn’t a modern room, I would say it’s classic Italian in a boutique hotel - every works perfectly though. Excellent air con and it was needed as we were there in the heatwave! The terrace makes it, great space to relax and super views. The breakfast that was included was lovely - buffet lots to chose from and eggs to order. The staff are so friendly and helpful it made the stay very special. Would definitely go back anytime"
