Radisson Red Oslo Airport

A really great hotel, not far from the airport, perfect for a layover. In winter, there are fewer guests, so you can use the self-service kiosks for check-in and check-out. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The room wasn't huge but it was clean and had good hot water pressure. The winter snow view outside the window was stunning. The only minor inconvenience is that the walk from the airport to the hotel is a bit far. Even with the covered walkway, it takes more than ten minutes if you walk fast. Once you exit the terminal, look to your left; there are signs pointing the way at every exit.

This was my second stay at this hotel during my Norway trip, both times for layovers in Oslo. The shower water pressure on the first floor was really low this second time around. It's super easy to find – just turn left after exiting the airport and walk straight for about 10 minutes.

The hotel's location is quite close to the airport, though I heard it's not as close as Radisson Blu. However, it makes up for it with newer decor. The room size is very generous, and the bathroom is also excellent, making it perfect for catching early morning flights. You can find the hotel by turning left from any ground exit on the arrival level of Oslo Airport and walking straight. The only downside is that I stayed at this hotel for two separate nights, and I booked breakfast for the second night. However, the front desk didn't inform me that weekday breakfast only goes until 9:30 AM, so I wasn't aware of the breakfast times. I came down exactly at 9:30 AM and missed it. Everything else was great.

There's a skywalk directly from Oslo Airport that leads right to the hotel entrance, which is quite convenient. The hotel facilities are pretty new and the environment is nice. The only thing is the pictures in the room are a bit bizarre, I couldn't really appreciate them. Breakfast starts at 5 AM, perfect for those catching early flights.

It was just okay, I'd say. The toilet was a bit broken, and it's actually quite a walk to the airport, not as close as Blue. But the property itself is quite new, and the lemonade at the front desk was pretty good.

During my trip to Norway, I stayed at both Radisson RED and Radisson Blu at Oslo Airport to experience the difference. Here's a summary of my experience for your reference: 1. **Location:** Blu is the closest, while Red is a bit further, requiring a few extra minutes of walking, but still well within walking distance. 2. **Room Size & Facilities:** I booked standard rooms at both. Blu's rooms were slightly larger than Red's. In terms of decor, Red felt more modern, but other in-room amenities were largely the same. 3. **Check-in/Check-out:** The process was smooth at both hotels. 4. **Breakfast:** Breakfast was pretty much identical at both hotels, with no significant differences. In conclusion, there isn't a huge difference between the two hotels. I'd recommend choosing whichever one offers a better price.

Right next to the airport and within walking distance, which is very convenient for those catching early flights or arriving late. The room was spacious, just a bit cold, so I requested an extra blanket. Overall, pretty good.
