Holiday Inn LEEDS - GARFORTH by IHG

Stay in the hotel during heat wave, there is a air conditioning in the hotel that really really really good.

I try to use this hotel as often as possible. I take 1 of my boys to stay. We use the pool & have a great time. Staff are lovely. Place is always clean. Breakfast is really good.

The hotel is a bit dated and the restaurant was missing a few dishes but overall it was a comfortable stay and great value. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Saw some negative reviews claiming smells and dirtiness etc but not this stay which was excellent all round.

Great service with staff working really hard for a hotel cutting obviously corners on the cheap. Breakfast used to be good - stayed previously, but today poor cheap processed food, sausages pink and tasteless, no butter only cheap spread. Shower broken with end broken off and cold, only got Luke warm water after a lot of turning loose knob. Main reason for staying here is the swimming pool to break a long journey on A1 but arrived to be told it was closed and not available but no one bothered to email us in advance despite 5 emails confirming booking.  Great easy parking location just off A1 Left at 11 am with drinkers outside shouting with appalling language on their phone and other guests said it had kept them awake.  Booked a queen room to find its only a standard double bed and felt misled by description,  asked to move rooms which was easy with queen bed as requested but only difference between the rooms was it did not have a coffee table!  Will not be staying next time.

Nice large room, friendly staff, quiet, bath and shower.

Handy location for us to get to Garforth train station as we had a show to attend in York. Staff were lovely too! Partner enjoyed the swimming pool. Would stay again if ever in the area. Easy to find from the motorway as we're from out of town. Thanks for having us.

I arrived very early at the hotel and asked if I could use somewhere to get changed. The reception staff allowed me to check in. All the staff were helpful, pleasant and keen to please.

The room was clean and the staffs were excellent in communication and very helpful.

Conveniently located just off the M1, leisure facilities are good with a well equipped fitness suite, pool, sauna and steam room. Breakfast is nice but the veg sausages are yuck!
