The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, Costa Navarino

Amazing experience.! We visited Costa Navarino and stayed at Romanos, A luxury Collection Resort to celebrate the first days of our Wedding.! The staff is most helpful and kind ready to serve you with anything you need.! Thank you very much for the experience.!!

The Romanos property at Costa Navarino is absolutely spectacular. From the beautiful setting and surrounding, to the incredible staff, you will just love every second being there. My family and I have spent multiple vacations here and we just keep coming back year after year. The landscaping along with all of the beautiful trees, plants and flowers will be a breath of fresh air. The property is absolutely spotless. Modern and up to date. You are greeted by every single member of their team with a kind and welcoming smile. The food selection at Romanos is fantastic, covering every culinary category. The breakfast buffet at Pero is one of the best you will ever encounter. The entire staff is amazing, particularly Maria who is originally from Chicago, and will make you feel like one of the family. The beach will add peace and serenity to your entire being.

Just finished a one week trip here with the family before moving on to try another of their hotels in the area. We had a huge suite with private 15 metre pool which was wonderful to have. The villa came with a private concierge service and Tassos and Vasiliki were always on hand very quickly to deal with issues. We did seem over run with ants laying on the sun loungers outside I kept having to flick them off of me and then we ended with several in the room and needing pest control. The beach is nice, not spectacular but the beach service is non existent. Meant to start at 11.00 and some days 11.30/45 without apology and needs improvement. However the life guards are very good at their job. Good choice of restaurants here and areas for the kids. Food is generally quite good also. We struggled a little here for food for our gluten/dairy free daughter and packed her lots of snacks too. Breakfast service was pretty terrible also. Things like corn tortillas, corn tacos gluten free pasta, buckwheat, millet, quinoa, rice cakes were mostly a miss here except for the Italian restaurant. In modern times there’s really so many options available also. They aren’t quite up to date with modern times with the Matcha yet they’re using a brand that’s bitter not CEREMONIAL. If I’d have known there was a frother in the room I’d have packed my matcha and co! Do seem to be plagued with wasps whenever eating outside so we opted for inside wherever possible and ended up with a horrendous amount of mosquito bites (didn’t happen at the next hotel) so perhaps there’s a pest problem to be addressed. Fabulous to have access to reformer machines but any gym classes happen in the evening which I found strange, no morning classes was a disappointment and often we would be getting ready for dinner so I couldn’t go. Turned out this was the more expensive of the two hotels we had booked but other than the room and concierge the rest of the trip didn’t quite match the same level of quality.

We recently had the most amazing experience at the Romanos, Costa Navarino where my daughter’s proposal took place, and we owe so much of its success to Katerina Giata who truly went above and beyond !! Her attention to detail, warmth and genuine care made all the difference. Every aspect of the proposal was thoughtfully executed and filled with love- you could tell she poured her heart into making the special moment perfect! It’s a memory we will cherish forever and we are so grateful to Katerina for helping create such a magical and emotional experience for our family. Thank you so much!!

Big shoutout to the beach crew who make the stay so comfortable, especially Andreas who welcomed us and helped whenever we needed something. Lovely holiday and I highly recommend!

Great place, stuff, location and rooms. Together with Westin next door it's likely the 2 of top 5 hotels in Greece. Staff is out of this world as are the amenities. Romanos is a bit less kids focuses than Westin and a bit more couples focused, but the restaurants and bars are great. Super highly recommended.
