Online Reviews and room pictures to date do not reflect our experience at La Garenne. It would appear that the main staff have been given holiday in the middle of the tourist season and left a teenager in charge!,,. Albeit a very nice teenager she was helpless in enhancing our stay with no support staff wise! For a so called 4* hotel there was no restaurant, no room service, no bar and breakfast couldn’t be facilitated for us early risers who needed to get away for a long journey! We had what can only be described as A ‘ chicken hut’ room separate to the main Building. It was clean but impossible to move around for 2 people unless one was on the bed! The restaurant was closed and when We enquired about a taxi to town (1.5miles away) we were told there was none. We asked for a recommendation for dinner and sadly have to report an equal disappointment with Le Cave Profunde wine bar…staff havent obviously been there lately as it was taken over by a new owner and renamed Les Encave..service was terrible not helped by understaffing also. Never again would be too soon!

Un joli cadre certes mais un serveur autoritaire et pressant et qui vous prend de haut .De plus côté de bœuf à partager , la viande demandée saignante a été servie bleue et pas agréable à manger . Cerise sur le gâteau un café gourmand commandé et un café facturé en sus … Le reste des plats servis étaient bons mais l’ensemble des prestations ne donnent pas envie de revenir …

Chouette séjour à l'hôtel La Garenne ! Le personnel est très sympa, la chambre est belle et confortable. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et savoureux. Nous avons pu également profiter du restaurant qui propose des plats généreux et très bons, avec des produits locaux. Léger bémol pour le prix a payé en plus pour profiter du sauna... Nous avons tout de même passé un agréable séjour, l'hôtel est à 5 minutes en voiture du centre ville de Saverne et il se situe également au départ de plusieurs belles randonnées à travers la forêt.

Bel hôtel, parking privé, bon accueil, très belle chambre vaste et lumineuse, très bien décorée, excellent petit déjeuner 3 propositions au choix + buffet pain viennoiseries à prix raisonnable. Un peu plus réservé sur le restaurant qui se la joue un peu gastro, sans l’être vraiment, bon mais un peu cher. Belle terrasse, personnel sympa. Je recommande.

Un joli hôtel avec une chambre magnifique avec vue panoramique. Juste pour cette chambre, l’hôtel vaut la peine. À part cela, l’hôtel possède un grand parking gratuit, une salle de restaurant et un ascenseur ce qui le rend très pratique lorsque l’on est de passage.

Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans l'hôtel, chambre moderne avec une très bonne literie. Nous avons aussi diné dans le restaurant de l'hôtel où nous nous sommes régalés, et aussi été très bien conseillés sur le choix du vin que nous avons adoré. Pour le petit déjeuneur il y avait le choix entre 3 types, j'ai pris healthy et mon mari sucré.Pour ce qui est de mon petit déjeuneur il était très copieux et vraiment très healthy. Superbe expérience dans l'établissement, nous reviendrons.

Dans un environnement agréable , sur les hauteurs de Saverne , cet hôtel promet quiétude et sérénité . L’accueil est cordial et sympathique . On nous accompagne jusqu’à notre chambre , soit pour nous , située dans l’annexe . La chambre spacieuse de caractère s’offre à nous avec ses nombreuses prestations comme la clim, un grand écran , un mini bar , une cafetière mais surtout un lit de grande taille et hyper confortable . Dans la salle de bain , il y a baignoire , douche à l’italienne , et wc séparés . Nous rencontrons des problèmes pour avoir de l’eau chaude au lavabo . Pour cela , il faut ouvrir le robinet de la baignoire … Un problème technique qu’il serait judicieux de régler. Quant au petit déjeuner , le salé offre jambon, fromage , œuf au plat et salade de fruit et le sucré , beaucoup plus moyen , offre pain congelé , croissant de piètre qualité , brioche maison , yaourt et salade de fruit . Malgré tout , nous avons passé un agréable séjour .

Hôtel Restaurant doté d’un personnel agréable, souriant, et très efficace. Cadre magnifique , cuisine raffinée , belle chambre jolie décorée et très propre… Excellent petit déjeuner avec des produits frais et très bien travaillés. C’était notre deuxième séjour à l’hôtel La Garenne , l’exigence et la qualité sont toujours au rendez-vous. Nous y reviendrons dès que possible…
