CLOSED We booked this place in Dec 2023, through ******* . When we arrived on May 8th, we found a for sale sign at the front and no trespassing notices in all the windows. ******* was great, found us alternate places to stay and covered the difference in price. ******* is no longer taking reservations for here but other sites are.

DO NOT BOOK!! These have clearly closed and are still taking money. The night before they email to say cancelled and then refuse to return the money

Decided to cycle up and have coffees and food, checked website,it said they were open, arrived after a three hour ride doors locked,no signage to say they were shut, also not a very welcoming notice in the windows about entering the building and that uninvited you would be told to leave,we did leave and won't be back, and will let all friends and family know.

The hotel cancelled our stay by texting my personal mobile at 1.30am on the day of the booking. This left us scrambling to find a new hotel which luckily we managed. They have now been ignoring mine and Expedia’s attempts to contact them to arrange a refund for two days! Customer service abysmal. Lesson learned, buy cheap buy twice - would not recommend to anyone

Set in the highlands surrounded by mountains and lochs, the family Fiona Douglas Ash and bar staff Johnny and Heather give us a very warm welcome, complimentary wine on arrival, room was beautiful, downstairs was beautiful and large conservatory was peaceful to chill out in looking out to the river, the meals were amazing they went out their way to make sure we had everything we needed, we will definitely be returning soon.

Inchbae's location is beautifully picturesque, and perfectly situated between the amenities of the Cromarty firth and Ullapool. It's made for the ideal rest stop after leaving totally unprepared & realising how far away Ullapool actually was! The Mother and Daughter duo who own the Lodge are breaths of fresh air. It's refreshing to be in the company of two people who are so welcoming and genuine. It's been wonderful each and every time we've stopped by since, to have a natter and enjoy some wonderfully fresh food from their seasonal menu. I can't speak for breakfast as I've not had one "yet", however I'm a sucker for anywhere which has homemade cakes and treats, and we are planning a getaway later in the year here! They are child and animal friendly too, so just the whole package. I'd encourage anyone traveling the A835 east or west to swing by, meet this wonderful pair, and take in the scenery from the conservatory. Stunning!

Nice location and room was very comfortable but unfortunately the new electric shower broke when I was in it having a shower and my partner did not get a shower. Breakfast set up is terrible. Service started at 8 am and we were there after 8.10 and all hot food was gone by then. When we asked for more we were told that the waitress would need to speak to the chef. The offer was made to cook more off but a French family of 3 in front of us were also waiting for eggs. The chef/owner came out and said that she had put out a lot of cooked food earlier and the guests had eaten it all. There was only one other table of 4 eating in the restaurant at that stage so this was not an acceptable explanation . We decided to leave and did get a discount due to the shower problem and no hot food at breakfast. Will definitely not be back and would not be recommending a stay there.

We called in for coffee and a sarnie. Very friendly and fab value for money with proper coffee and my BLT was meal in itself. We were offered the conservatory with its interesting selection of books but settled on picnic bench at the back of hotel with a stunning view of Ben Wyvis. Pet friendly. Well worth a stop for coffee and sarnie.

Cozy lodge. Very clean and welcoming. Fabulous views. It’s very unique as it is non corporate and has a style of its own. Would recommend this inn for a night stop or even exploring the area as it is half way between Ullapool and Inverness. Convenient for the N500. It also allows dogs and has a good WiFi
