Beautiful hotel with great views. Walking distance into the centre of town.

A 1 night stay for an awards event held at the hotel. Very smart and clean

The room View is amaizing its what it says on the tin however if you are a sensitive sleeper there is a pump that goes all nightfrom the near by dock. You would assume the room is sealed to all types of noise from the outside. The bathroom is not great at all small and rusty shower pipes No robes or slippers inthe room- atleast say when booking so that you know what to expect. Breakfast ok- unfortunately some flies wouldn’t leave our table alone Hospitality great, they changed our bedding both nights Overall- the worst Hilton I have stayed in and such a Hilton fun but this trip taught me it’s probably just the name.

Absolutely perfect for anyone attending a concert at the nearby concert venue (glasshouse) . Steep surrounding walkways/pavements may be an issue for some people with lesser mobility.

The hotel was in a good location with views of the river. The Windows on Tyne bar was good, service was excellent. I needed to ring duty manager twice about some minor glitches and he & she were courteous, helpful and sorted the problems immediately. Checking out was very easy too. In all I would definitely recommend the hotel

I booked this hotel twice by accident because the Trip.com key button did not work. They were very rude and condescending when explaining to me that I needed to go back to the third-party agent. The latter then told me to go back to the hotel and I just went from one side to the other. it was just an accident I don’t know why they were so insistent in not refunding me.

There is no even wake up call. I think only breakfast is good.

room size is quite big. location: close to the bridge gym is ok service: no slippers provided, need to buy by yourself toothbrush might be provided upon request air conditioning is not warm enough in cold days on one day housekeeping did not clean the room.

Difficult to get to as roadworks and confusing one way system. Website advertised car park for overnight stay £5 but actual charge is £15. Room had large glass window but on ground floor overlooking a road. No possibility of fresh air so noisy air conditioning meant uncomfortable sleep. Mini bar with nothing in it. Cup of coffee £4.95. Staff appeared fairly indifferent as many tourists coming and going. Would not recommend as other nearby hotels offer free car parking and much easier to arrive at by road.

Enjoyed my time there, nice bed, great breakfast, just let down by the swimming pool opening time kin weekend
