The Wander Hotel, a Ramada by Wyndham

The hotel is in a great location and that’s the best thing I can say. The breakfast if they have a lot of people coming is good with biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs but if there’s not many people booked, it’s just scrambled eggs and half cooked sausage. The one thing if you have a pet, they’re gonna stick you in one of the old rooms that the floor hasn’t been mopped in ages. They made dust mop it, but if you drop some water and wipe it up, the rag is black and the bed was very uncomfortable. Young man at the desk was very nice and he actually helped me a lot and he said they did have a lot of new mattresses, but unfortunately our room wasn’t one of them.

It is a very well located place, everyone there is very friendly and the best thing is an excellent price

We have stayed at this location for over 30 years. Facility has always been perfect. Location is great. Since Wyndham took over it has gone to hell. Had confirmed reservations last April when spring break was in full swing and when we arrived at the facility we were advised that our room had been let to some college students. Took me a couple of months to get my refund. This time we checked in on the 13th as scheduled. Room had no phone, no coffee pot, no ice bucket and no lamp shades on the lamps. Bathroom has no mirrors. Had to go to office because they did not answer the listed phone. I called the reservation number and they tried to contact the desk several times and call me back and said they got no response either. The desk never answered my cell calls the entire time we were there. We got room service one out of the 4 days and I had to go to the laundry and beg for clean towels. We were in room 543 and room 545 had a bunch of barking dogs that I did not know the facility allowed dogs. Telephone was installed in our room but it would not work neither would the wifi work on my IPad. To put it plainly we will never use Wyndham facilities again.
