Patara Viewpoint Hotel

My husband and Irecently spent five nights at Viewpoin, with my sister and her family, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Despite being a very simple and budget-friendly option, the hotel provided everything we needed. The rooms and facilities were spotless, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The value for money was outstanding, making it a perfect choice for our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean, affordable, and welcoming place to stay in Patara.

We’ve been returning to Muzzafer’s and Anne Louise ‘ s Patara Viewpoint Hotel since 2012, every two or three years, always around late May. The setting is simple and accurate, sensing relaxed in all inside and outside rooms, furnished with taste and recalling nomadic roots. The pool area is an unwinding place to have breakfast or a light meal with fresh local produce, cool down in the cushioned wooden open space, and rest around the pool. Many historic, cultural and relaxing activities are proposed for the ones not fully devoted to the beach or the pool. From the first time we felt peaceful and rested after our holidays, with a sense of gratitude towards our hosts, for providing us a home away from home, we ‘ll keep visiting Patara Viewpoint in the years to come, inshallah.

This hotel has everything one would want in such a facility. I have no major complaints about the physical facility. However, there were some negative vibes emanating from the man owner that just seemed to chill the place for us. He was somewhat brusque bordering on rude. Perhaps understandible at the end of a long hot busy season. The lady owner was very pleasant.

We stayed at the Bademli apartments that are owned by the Viewpoint Hotel. WE had a one week stay in apartment Eric (Plum) before moving onto Kalkan for a further two weeks. Initial booking of the apartment was flawless, Muzaffer and Anne-Louise always responded promptly to my emails and questions. We also booked transfers to and from Dalaman airport through Muzaffer. We were met at Dalaman by our transfer and taken to the apartments that are set on the hillside just above Patara village. There are four apartments set beside a swimming pool, we had booked apartment Erik, which is a one bedroomed apartment on the first floor. This apartment was lovely and comfortable, it is well equipped with everything you need for a week or more stay. There is plenty of crockery etc., a dish washer, oven, hob, and a washing machine, and fridge/freezer. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and there is nothing that I can point to or suggest that could make this apartment any better. All rooms were light and had plenty of space, the doublebed being really comfortable. The pool and gardens are lovely, both shade and areas to sit in the sun. The grounds are kept clean and tidy by a lovely lady; and I do apologies that I cannot remember her name. There are four apartments in total and they all have lovely views over the quiet countryside from the balcony or ground floor sitting area. The location is quiet and peaceful, with a short downhill walk to the village. Most days Muzaffer or Anne-Louise would call in to check all was OK which of course it was. On the rare occasion that we contacted them by text they always responded promptly. We attended the Turkish buffet evening at the hotel and this was a lovely way to spend an evening sampling the food at the hotel. For information the two first floor apartments are one bedroomed, and I believe that the two ground floor apartments are two bedroomed. There is also a nice rooftop terrace to enjoy an evening drink should you wish to venture beyond your large balcony; the terrace is shared by all the apartments. I would highly recommend staying at these apartments if you are looking for peace and quiet, in perfectly appointed accommodation. Muzaffer and Anne-Louise are always contactable, and were really nice and helpful at all stages of out stay. I am so pleased that I booked this accommodation and would be more than happy to go again. Anne-Louise and Muzafer were very helpful in advance of our visit with advice for our friend who would be late arriving. They went out of their way to ensure I had gluten-free breakfast options in addition to the lovely fresh breakfast that they supply. We joined for the Turkish BBQ night which was served around the pool. The rooms are basic but clean and adequate, what you expect from a family-run B&B. The Ottoman terrace with wood burner was a divine way to spend an evening with friends. Excellent value for money. We drove to the beach and to multiple Lycian attractions nearby.

I joined a friend already staying at the hotel. Anne-Louise had arranged the taxi for me at the airport and my journey to the hotel was very smooth. I arrived late at night so the spectacular views from the hotel pool were a lovely surprise and as I discovered so was the surrounding area and nearby towns. Everyone I met from the hotel to the village Patara and the town Kalyan were friendly. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool area is immaculate with a fantastic outlook. Anne Louise, Muzaffer and the staff are available to help individualise your holiday experience, offering trips to the beach, the local town - Kalyan, a boat trip or if you choose to relax around the pool provide a variety of light snacks lunches and drinks to suit your palate. I throughly enjoyed my time.
