The b&b is a little outside the ”main mile” and is therefore quiet - very good. However, everything in the city center is very good to foot reach - for non-footmen*in there is a bus stop in front of the door. Everything appears quite new, it is also just being built. The rooms are very clean and for a hotel of this category generous and bright. There is a small lobby with jobs for PC and others. The staff is very friendly and helpful, However, the young man did not know anything at the reception with my registration form ;-) Some small disadvantages: Since I was there at the weekend and had enjoyed the night life in Bochum many evenings, it was very bald at breakfast time 9-10°°, there is no room for it in the small breakfast room, i.e. it was also in the lobby breakfast and the blows on the small but fine buffet were long, This may be different during the week ... In the hotel and in the rooms it was unfortunately quite cold, at an outdoor temperature of 18-20 C the air conditioning was very high or the heating was down and there were few corners in which it was not moved from the top, This is not necessary in spring and makes it uncomfortable.

I am a native dinner and therefore know the hotel forever. The location is central, opposite to the main station and in the middle of the city. The rooms are spacious according to category. Viel Schatten, wenig Licht es gibt in diesem Hotel zwei verschiedene Kategorien: Standard und Superior wir hatten Superior gebucht. Am Samstag bei Anreise wurden wir sofort gebeten, die Zimmerrechnung zu bezahlen. Das ist ungewöhnlich, aber ok. Als wir dann das Zimmer betraten, stellen wir fest, dass wir eine falsche Kategorie bekommen hatten. Also zurück zur Rezeption. Die junge Dame war völlig überfordert und bestätigte, dass wir ein Standardzimmer bekommen hatten und kein Superior. Sie holte sich Hilfe bei Herrn F. Welche Funktion er hat, wissen wir nicht. er hat sich nicht vorgestellt. Allerdings schaute er in den Computer und sagte, dass er jetzt am Samstag Abend nichts mehr tun könne, das Hotel sei ausgebucht. Als Kompensation und Entschädigung würde er uns für den folgenden Morgen zum Frühstück einladen, und ein Zimmerwechsel am nächsten Tag. Mehr könne er für uns nicht tun. Damit war das Gespräch für ihn beendet und wandte sich wieder seiner Restaurantkasse zu. Nach unserer Auffassung ist dieses Verhalten Betrug. Er hatte unser Geld schon kassiert. Für 2 Nächte Superior Zimmer! Am nächsten Morgen sprachen wir dann mit einer netten Kollegin an der Rezeption. Frau M. war im Gegensatz zu ihrem Kollegen kompetent und handlungswillig. Sie organisierte den Zimmerwechsel, erstattete den zuviel bezahlten Superioraufschlag und eine Kompensation für die gestörte Nachtruhe. Der Unterschied zwischen Standard und Superior ist die Lage: Hauptverkehrsstrasse und Innenhof. und wir hatten ausdrücklich Innenhof bestellt. Nach der positiven Überraschung an der Rezeption der zweite Schock: das Frühstück. Das Hotel wird durch die Lage zum Musical vornehmlich von Busgruppen frequentiert. Wir hatten uns schon erst zu 10 Uhr für das Frühstück vorbereitett, um dem Ansturm der Busgruppen aus dem Weg zu gehen. Aber es war eine Katastrophe! Die drei Servicekräfte waren heillos überfordert. Schlachtfeld trifft es wohl am Besten. und keiner der Mitarbeiter war in der Lage etwas Ordnung in das Chaos zu bringen. Wenn Sie irgendwie können, suchen Sie sich ein anderes Hotel! Und wenn Sie es schon nicht vermeiden können, dann buchen Sie unbedingt Superior. Erstens ist an Schlaf bei Zimmern der Standardkategorie zur Strassenseite nicht zu denken und zweitens finden Sie dort eine Einrichtung, die wohl noch aus dem 70er Jahren stammt. Die Superiorzimmer sind zur ruhigen Hofseite und sehen aus, als wenn sie in den 90er Jahren mal renoviert wurden. (auch schon 30 Jahre her....) Selbst die Nähe zum Musicaltheater macht es nicht erträglicher. Das Musical selbst ist auch nach 30 Jahren immer noch eine Reise wert!

We were there for a weekend and felt very comfortable. The room was fine, as was the service and breakfast. There was always someone to contact who was available to help and advise. However, the behavior of some guests is sometimes puzzling to me. Hotel employees are just that. Employees. Not personal serfs. In my opinion, it is absolutely reasonable to wait your turn instead of immediately calling for more ”staff” and the manager. Like every other guest, we were informed when we checked in that, due to sustainability and high energy costs, the room is only cleaned and refilled every third day. If we were missing something, we just had to let us know. We thought that was OK. Other guests apparently didn't. I don't know how you can use up 2 rolls of toilet paper in less than 24 hours, but I know that you just had to ask nicely. Then the employees would have been just as nice to provide the guest with more rolls. Not listening and not reading, followed by loud outrage, is not a good combination.

The hotel is just a few minutes from the Philharmonie U-Bahn station or just a 15 minute walk from the main station and hence very nicely located. The staff are very professional and gave me a good welcome. The room was very well-kept and for the price, a good size. Excellent WiFi coverage at good connectivity speeds. Overall, a very nice stay in a very nice hotel.

Two minutes out is the largest civic square pedestrian street, five minutes is the largest shopping mall in the local area, ten minutes is the train station, ten minutes drive to the highway.

From this hotel, there is a lot to reach at walking distance. So favourable. Maybe good for those who arrive to place a plate already with the hotel name. The hotel itself is best trendy, clean and clean. The reception is open 24 hours. The bar doesn't make much good. That's a pity. The combination of the receptionist and the bar's control is not helpful. The room is clean and clean. What is missing is glass and the deck beds are synthetic and therefore too warm. A better air-conditioning instruction would also be useful. I don't get much smarter from the information on TV. Let the window open while sleeping means a lot of noise from the street. Furthermore, a great basic room. The breakfast is well extended and nothing wrong with it. Parking inside the caves costs 10 euros per day unnecessary and not customer friendly. This is a good alternative for a short visit to Oberhausen.

The rooms are big, clean, breakfast is good, and the waiters are serious and polite, warm and thoughtful. There is a railway station nearby, making it easy to travel. There are shopping malls, it is Christmas, and there are Christmas markets. gorgeous.

I wanted to book my third visit to this hotel Unfortunately I contacted them by phone and by mail to make a booking. But... The first time by phone they asked me to call another time as they were busy. The second time, the second day, they told me that they already told me that they are busy to take my reservation and I need to send my request by mail. The mail was not answered So the third day I called and they told me that they will check my email when they are less busy. I didn't want to bother them further as they most probably are still busy doing anything else than taking care of their customers.
