Hotel Krone

Hello, I would like to say thank you—our family of four had a great stay at your hotel! We stayed in rooms 207 and 302, and both were very clean and well organized. If possible, I would recommend choosing a room on the upper level. The terrace views are much nicer from there. That said, we didn’t spend much time at the hotel during the day, as there are so many things to do nearby. One more suggestion: it’s a good idea to reserve a table for dinner at least a day in advance. The center of Mondsee was quite busy, and finding a table for four between 6:30 and 7:30 PM was a bit of a challenge. Thanks again for your hospitality!

Perfect all-in-one hotel for our short stay. Welcoming atmosphere and helpful personnel. Authentic, traditional hotel with separate lounge area for guests and on-site restaurant and bar serving local speciality food and drink. Dinner was amazing - the goulash was fantastic. Breakfast also very good. The host gave us a choice if rooms on arrival - we chose a third floor room with half-covered balcony with forest view. The room also contained a sofa and separate armchair, which is rare. Only things to note are: — there is no lift — some of the fittings in the rooms are a bit dated - eg bedside radio and bathroom furniture but everything is fully working so this just adds to the charm. We would definitely choose this hotel again.

Excellent location and service. Any request do not hesitate to ask. Family managed hotel, surrounded by great stuff. Their restaurant is a must to try! The owner speaks good French and they like kids. Walking distance to the lake, playground, ice-cream place is just opposite of the hotel.

Really nice hotel in the centre of Mondsee, with clean, modern and well furnished rooms. That is the good news. Now, imagine you are on a coach tour and the hotel has done a deal with the operator to get each coach party served in a very short timeframe. You might well expect your order to be taken without much courtesy, and for formula food to be served quickly by harassed and unsmiling waiting staff. We ordered a starter and main course, and all arrived together, unceremoniously dumped on the table. If you make a mistake with your order, expect to be huffed at loudly by an angry waiter! We were obviously not part of a coach party, but got the treatment all the same. My advice, stay at the hotel, eat elsewhere
