Hotel Tirolerhof 4 Sterne Superior

Great stay. Spa is modernized, rooms seem a bit dated. Dinner and breakfast were very good the afternoon snack can be skipped for the most part, especially since space on the terrace is very limited. Bus to go skiing leaves directly out front.

The Panorama-Sauna on the roof top that can hold about 50 people is amazing.

I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights with my wife and daughter. The hotel has WIFI but no Internet connection, I was unable to read emails and browse news websites etc. You can forget about streaming I had to use my mobile hot spot but with difficulty due to poor signal in the room we stayed in (I had to put my mobile phone on the balcony to get a bit of stable connection) An unhelpful receptionist advised that the hotel is fully booked and poor wifi is due to children streaming Netflix. Unfortunately, that was the end of it so we had no internet connection as standard for rest of the stay. Therefore, I would advise to check with the reception about the Internet connection before proceeding with booking if you really need the internet as the hotel might have rooms with good internet connection in a newer part of the hotel. The staff in the restaurant area was not always helpful at times due to lack of language proficiency and likely general hotel culture I would say. On the positive note the room had a proper bed for my daughter. It is not a standard for this prize in the Tux / Hintertux area. Normally one gets a sofa bed for a child in other hotels which can be hard and far less comfortable. - Another positive was a dinner with fish & sea food theme on one of the evenings. It was a very good supper made of high quality products. - it needs to be mentioned that the Hotel itself is nice, the room was decent size and tidy - there is also a decent gym area which is reasonably equipped & a nice swimming pool We benchmark our bellow average experience against four previous stays in different hotels in Tux area however these previous stays were during off-peak holiday periods whereas the stay in Tirolerhof was during a festival peak period which could have skewed our impression unfairly against the hotel simply because the staff in the restaurant was busy and the receptionist might have been bothered by the guests rather frequently In Summary & In my opinion it is a decent hotel which is best visited in off-peak periods because of poor wifi and less efficient restaurant & reception staff. If you really need reliable internet connection I would advise to speak to receptionist to request a room which have a decent wifi. Regards

Great hotel with rooftop adults only area. Warm colours, cozy atmosphere, modern lifestyle but still authentic place. Good food, best quality and really nice family. Gym and spa is outstanding, a lot offers & program for free and for everybody. Will definitely come back.
