Living in the near for 5 years and always we get the chance we come to this lovely village to see the Basilica and to enjoy the best icecream in the area but we never get to go to this lovely establishment .We got that chance today as it was incredibly warm and sunny and we decided to have a coffee on the top of the world .What a good decission .We asked the waiter if we could use the terrace as we were the only table there unfortunatelly and we has two lovely coffees and our baby boy had hunger so we ordered a nice bowl of soup which came very fast and was delightfull.Next time we will try the menu as today we were in a bit of a rush but looking at the menu a la carte it looks appetising for sure for next time .Totally romantic terrace with breathtaking views .Must try .Thank you staff for allowing us to enjoy your terrace .We will come back .Greatings from the czech- romanian couple and the baby .

This hotel is a traditional hotel, no AC in the rooms, so it was quite a hot night's stay. The food is very nice, the staff and owners are lovely too. We were on a cycling holiday, one tip, call the hotel when you are at the bottom of the hill, get them to take you to the top, it's a 2 mile 12 - 15 degree climb, which is brutal whether trying to ride it or walk up. The view from the rooms and terrace is breathtaking, just stunning!

Ein gutes altes Hotel wie damals, kein seelenloses austauschbares Kettenhotel mit Standardeinrichtung sondern individuell mit familiärem Charme. Wir haben uns hier sehr gut aufgenommen gefühlt, unser Zimmer war einwandfrei und wir haben vor allem den Blick vom Balkon genossen. Aber auch das Restaurant, das Personal, das Frühstück und die Lage haben uns überzeugt

Hotel con una parte decisamente antica ed un'aggiunta più moderna. Gentile l'addetta alla reception, piccola ma essenziale la camera, con balconcino dal quale si intravede il Danubio. Buona la cena, con un dolce ottimo. Colazione abbondantissima, buona e varia.

Albergo datato ma si sarebbe potuto sorvolare se non avessi trovato uno scarafaggio nel letto dopo essere rientrata da cena. La pulizia è fondamentale, quindi penso ci si debba porre maggior attenzione!

Das Hotel Rose liegt im Zentrum, nur ein paar "Schritte" von der Wallfahrtskirche entfernt. Es ist ein kleines, feines Haus mit einem ganz besonderen "Flair & Charme". Schon bei der Anreise wurden wir vom "Hausherrn" herzlichst willkommen geheißen und bekamen alle relevanten Informationen zum Hotelaufenthalt (wir hatten nur 1 Nacht gebucht!). Da am nächsten Nachmittag in der Nähe ein Familientreffen geplant war, fragte ich, ob wir das Zimmer eventuell etwas länger benützen dürften - man meinte sofort, dass "werde kein Problem sein". Von unserem Balkon-Zimmer waren wir total begeistert - herrlicher Blick über die Donau! Besonders einladend ist auch die Terrasse mit Blick über die Donau und das ausgesprochen nette und freundliche Personal. Egal, ob beim Frühstück (knuspriges Brot, weiche Eier, die wirklich "weich" sind etc.), Mittag- oder Abendessen (wir haben selten ein so gutes Wienerschnitzerl gegessen ! ) - es gab immer nur freundliche und fröhliche Worte und auch herzhaftes Lachen des Personals - wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt !

Camera spaziosa, senza balcone, no frigobar, pulita e ordinata, buon ristorante all’interno. Non è un bike hotel, hanno un garage per le biciclette. Nel complesso è stato un buon soggiorno non abbiamo usato la sauna. Per una notte è buono.

L’hotel ha visto tempi migliori. L’edificio è carino ma le stanze piccole e vecchiotte. L’onnipresente moquette verdolina sbiadita e le rose di plastica poi non si possono proprio vedere! La colazione è buona come ovunque in Austria. Ristorante panoramico e posti all’esterno con bellissima veduta sul Danubio.
