Just an absolutely stunning area with an immaculate kept resort. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They have a great wine list and nice amenities. The region is stunning! (a hidden gem). I hope not to many tourist find this hidden gem! I love the fact that we were the only Americans around,

There are places, that do everything just perfectly right. If you are looking for the perfect hideaway surrounded by nature and wine gardens, then this is my number one destination. I also enjoyed the quiet atmosphere in the new restaurant for hotel guests only!

Vor 11 Jahren hatte ich dieses Landhaus schon einmal besucht. Viel hat sich geändert: Größer und schöner. Diesmal hatten wir hier nur eine kleine Rast und konsumierten ein Carpaccio (vorzüglich, vielleicht zu viel Majonnaise), zum Durst löschen ein ausgezeichnetes Weizenbier und verkosteten zwei steirische Weine: Sauvignon blanc und Welschriesling. In dieser herrlichen Umgebung schmecken sie doppelt so gut. Die Landschaft dürfte auch wesentlich die Preisgestaltung beeinflussen. Wie auch immer, wenn sich wieder einmal die Gelegenheit ergibt, hier vorbei zukommen, werde ich gerne einkehren.

Tolle Location nicht nur für Entspannung sondern auch für Familienfeier und dergleichen. Eine sehr persönliche und familiäre Atmosphäre. Die Umgebung ist für Outdoorfreaks (Wandern und Mountainbike) mehr als geeignet. Sehr viele Buschenschanken laden zum verweilen und relaxen ein.

Unabhängig von dem wunderbaren Essen, der hervorragenden Weinauswahl und der sehr ruhigen Umgebung, besticht das Hotel mit seinen liebenswerten und bemühten Mitarbeiter/innen und der sehr herzlichen Gastgeberfamilie! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön und der Pool ist wunderbar warm! Absolut top!!! Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Nachdem wir das Ratscher Landhaus bereits kennen lernten als es noch klein und fein war und wir damals die Herzlichkeit sehr genossen hatten ( es liegt viele Jahre zurück), wollten wir diesen Genuss wieder einmal erfahren, jedoch haben wir es diesmal ganz anders wahrgenommen, da uns zwar das reichhaltige Frühstück enorm begeisterte, jedoch weder die Frühstückszeiten ( bis 10 Uhr) noch das Menü am Abend faszinierten. Wir bevorzugten Jahre zuvor die Flexibilität des Essens am Abend a la carte und waren während diesem Aufenthalt wenig begeistert von der aktuellen Menüauswahl und dem fix vorgegebenen Essenszeitfenster. Die Herzlichkeit ist unserer Wahrnehmung nach verloren gegangen, jedoch sticht eine junge Dame ( Frau Madeline De Leon) sehr positiv durch ihr Engagement und IHRE HERZLICHKEIT hervor . Die Überladung der positiven Affirmationen im gesamten Haus empfanden wir als störend, da dies keine Authentizität vermittelte. Zum Glück sind Geschmacksrichtungen und Vorstellungen verschieden, denn für uns ist es keine Destination, die wir nochmals aufsuchen werden.
