Hotel Palazzo Durazzo Suites

Beautiful hotel with great atmosphere of palazzo! Streets on back side are narrow and interesting to visit. Street cafes and small shops all around. Walking to central square is 7-10 minutes.

Palazzo Durazzo is a superb boutique hotel in the center of Genoa. From our arrival, where we were met with stellar hospitality, to the exquisite esthetics of the Palazzo - our experience can only be expressed in superlatives. Our room was very clean, the breakfast was delicious and we very much enjoyed an aperitivo at the hotel, we have nothing but positive things to mention about the hotel. Furthermore, we experienced Genoa as (one of) the most beautiful and impressive cities of Europe, where an omnipresence of historical opulence is met with a more gritty contemporary reality. There still being so much to do, eat and see, we cannot wait to come back to both the city and the Palazzo.

Unbelievable service from all the staff. Be sure to eat in their dining room. Food is world class at a reasonable price.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Caring staff. A wonderful place to stay to discover Genoa. Genoa is a very different city for the average traveler to Italy, but definitely worth a visit. Yes, it’s gritty but it delivers on fascination and history. Gorgeous art and architecture (don’t miss the church of San siro) and a sense of authenticity without the tourist crowds.

An impressive aristocratic palazzo in the most convenient location, renovated tastefully and with all the amenities you would expect in a luxury hotel. Strong air conditioning, great bathroom, helpful staff. Will definitely be back.
