A simple room. nothing special. Ok for short stay.
Foreigner need to queue for manual checkin at the counter.

Poor check-in system for online purchase booking 3hours waiting time for counter check-in there are over 20 self check-in machines are useless, Pillows are smelly, do not provide toiletries only soap and all in one shower dispenser that are not working bonus point for a mountain view room.

Room is small and basic. Doesn’t comes with much amenities. You have to bring your own toothbrush, shampoo etc. Pillows are soft too. Checking in can be a nightmare with long queues unless you can perform self check in yourself. Location is one of the best for the hotels though with lots of amenities and ****** nearby. Not all the lifts are running and getting down during checkout time can be challenging. Overall it serve the basic purpose of a stay without much luxury.

Easy check in upon arrival. Use the code provided by trip.com which was provided 3 days before check in date. A small hiccup as I was requested to pay the tourism tax when checking in. Paid for it on the spot. Then contacted trip.com customer service. They promptly replied with a refund.
The buffet breakfast and cable car included were redeem easily with no issues. Breakfast at genting grand. Either walk there or there's a free shuttle bus outside first world hotel, beside Starbucks.
First world hotel give basic amenities - towels and all in 1 shampoo and shower gel. No toothbrush so bring your own.

The location is great, connected to the mall and cable car, but the room is really small and basic. Good for a short stay if you’re on a budget, but don’t expect much.

more like a 3rd world hotel not first world. the receptionist is worst. they have an option to early check-in with a fee. yet they asked us to come back 3 times because he said that the room is still attended by the housekeeping. so what he meant that the room was cleaned for 6 hours? ( 18sqm room took 6 hours to clean? is he serious????) he could have just been honest and tell us that the room is not available. and not need to LIE to us. please do review this guy’s attitude. he is rude and really does not deserve to be in the front desk.

Rooms and service were not as described. No free wifi at all, even in public areas as described in trip posting. we were told to complain to trip.com if we wished to.
