- Centrally located in George Town, the hotel is within walking distance to major attractions like Chew Jetty, Fort Cornwallis, and Little India. - The spacious and elegant rooms featuring colonial-style decor, large windows, and modern amenities such as air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, minibars, and free Wi-Fi. - The hotel offers an outdoor pool with a separate kiddie pool, jakuzi a full-service spa - Staff Serriendly and helpful staff, nothing their professionalism and attentiveness. - very big breakfast and more variety

Location wise is convenient and the hotel under renovation partially. Stayed there while their restaurant out of order and going for temporary breakfast. Overall many foreign tourist staying over there.

The staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. My room was nicely prepared and clean. I happened to meet the room maintenance lady that came the next morning. She was very friendly and nice to greet with me. I had enjoyed my time staying here and would recommend it to other people. It is a heritage hotel but is very well maintained.

Service reception was successful, house keeping was helping, hotel just in the middle of town can access to all place, facilities and amenities was good, i like the pool is beautiful and clean, sure will repeat again soon.

It was a comfortable stay at the hotel. Th staff were friendly in greeting when arrived. The lobby was clean and smelt good. In fact the entire hotel smelt wonderful. Rooms were big but the cleanliness can be improve. Breakfast was good too.

We enjoyed our stay here. Room, breakfast, cleanliness, staff behavior everything was 10/10. Highly recommend.

The best royal chulan chains in Malaysia so far compared to the one in KL and Damansara. Staff quality on the top notch, always greeting and smiling. Room is spacious and very clean. The bathroom is really clean and separated for the w.c and the shower. Breakfast was good and delicious too! Overall satisfied with the service and please keep it up!!

I had a wonderful stay at Royale Chulan Penang. The room was spacious and elegant, truly living up to its name. The Sahur meal had a great variety of delicious options, making it a satisfying experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay. Overall, a fantastic hotel with great service, good food, and a royal touch. Highly recommended!

Great breakfast; very clean room and excellent customer service. Only downside is not a lot of parking; the outside facade misleading: once you get in, it’s 5 star hotel, almost. Will be back for sure. Loved the heritage feeling.

Everything is good, acceptable. The front desk staff Liang is nice. Pool towel and chair are always not enough for guests.

Please make improvements to the furniture, as many pieces are old, damaged, and dirty. The mattress only has a single bedsheet. The pillows are not soft,they cause headaches. The sink is clogged. There’s a lot of hair on the bathroom floor.
