"A very satisfying accommodation experience in Guyana, faraway South America. Especially the service from Xiao Liang at the front desk was excellent! My husband and I were traveling independently in South America, and for the first twenty days, the hotels we stayed in had dimly lit rooms. This was the only hotel with brightly lit rooms! The room was fully equipped, and all the necessary toiletries were provided. The view from the window was beautiful and pleasant. The breakfast was very plentiful. The front desk provided service in both Chinese and English. It felt like a welcome change. The location is excellent, close to the Chinese Embassy. The only interesting thing that could be improved: the label for "aged vinegar" seemed incorrect! It was actually white vinegar, haha! See the picture. The breakfast restaurant tables were arranged like a large conference room. However, it's still a perfect 100% positive review! In short, highly recommended!"

"The AC Hotel Georgetown is a great new hotel — probably one of the best in town. The building is fresh, stylish, and far better than most alternatives in Georgetown. However, the restaurant is terrible. Service is slow, the food comes out cold, and the quality is simply not acceptable. The hotel itself is excellent, but the dining experience really drags down the overall rating."

"The environment was noisy, with the dining hall right outside the door, and music playing until midnight. Most importantly, after midnight, a male hotel staff member entered the room's door lock code without informing the room owner and tried to enter directly, which was extremely impolite and unsafe. Upon check-in, the hotel staff intentionally didn't check the room code, yet a hotel staff member suddenly barged in at midnight."

"I stayed for three nights at the Four Points by Sheraton Georgetown while attending a multi-day meeting at the hotel. The room itself was clean, comfortable and generally what I would expect from a property of this type. Unfortunately, the service standards left a great deal to be desired. Service in the restaurant was consistently slow, while the catering provided during our meeting was particularly disappointing: meals took far too long to arrive, orders were mixed up, and food was frequently served cold. This simply did not meet the standard I would expect from an international brand such as Sheraton. I was also surprised to come downstairs at around 10:00 p.m. on a Saturday night and discover that the bar was already preparing to close by 10:30, despite guests still being around the pool and other public areas. Perhaps most concerning, there were buckets positioned in the lobby to catch water from leaks. For a property that had been open for less than two months at the time of my stay, this suggested issues with the quality of the workmanship that really should not be evident in such a new hotel. The property has potential, and the accommodation itself was perfectly adequate, but both the service standards and aspects of the physical property require significant improvement if it is to live up to the Sheraton name."
