This is a beautiful and quiet hotel on the lakeside. There is no shortage of things to do to enjoy Lake Simcoe. When you open the door, the lake is right there.

We use this property because our kids love the pool and hot tub. Hot tub was drained and out of order. Pool use was limited. Couldn't get any reception on my Rogers phone to get calls or messages. Heat control was missing from wall so husband had to adjust it on the unit. Was either hot or cold in our room making it difficult to sleep.when we were leaving resort they told us breakfast was included which is not what the site said when I booked our room.we had gone out for breakfast the day before.Staff were trying hard to please us but facility is in need of maintenance.

We have stayed here several times but always had a room in the main building. This time, we were in one of the outbuildings buildings close to the water. The room was huge and very comfortable, although the ceiling was rather shabby looking as were the bathroom walls, but this did not make a difference in how comfortable it was. I enjoyed the view of a beautiful sunrise over the water. We will definitely be returning.

Property is very expensive for a below average at best room. Price should take in account off season. Room could have been much cleaner amd is need of repairs to the curtains, main door taps etc.

I would definitely stay here again. The staff was friendly, check-in was easy, our room was clean, there were many amenities on the grounds that we were happy with and the view of Lake Simcoe is lovely. We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and greatly enjoyed the food with a gorgeous view of the lake. After dinner we did a quick swim, hot tub and dried off in the sauna. It was a little cold running back to our rooms because we were placed in a separate building from where the main pool building is but that's understandable given that it's late October.

The rooms are well updated, beds comfortable. Needs a small table and 2 chairs so you can eat in there though. Big room with lots of empty space.
Weekend service included simply a plastic bag with replacement towels and toilet paper dropped in front of the door.

The staff are very friendly. Moved us from Lakeside to inside because we were concerned about being close to the water with our two children. They were very understanding.
