Wonderful hotel, the best ryokan we’ve ever stayed at! Breathtaking views, stylish room, cozy futons, exquisite food. It is so cute that you can choose the colour of your yukata by yourself, and once you do, you immediately get into the relaxing atmosphere.
We loved the open-air bath, while the private baths are rather ordinary, so I suggest you don’t waste your time and go to the public baths instead. All baths (both in your room and public ones) are really well-equipped with everything you need, from shampoo to body cream. We love the open air feet bath - it was soooo good!
Aside from yukata, there are socks and haori, which was really nice as the evening was chilly.
The stamp rally is such a great idea: we loved wandering around the hotel collecting stamps. Dinner and breakfast were both good, and we really appreciated that the hotel staff adjusted the food according to our dietary requirements.
It was a wonderful stay, and we’ll be happy to come again!
