Hotel Chamade

Unexpectedly good! The hotel is very close to the station. After arriving from Brussels South Station, it's about a five-minute walk to the hotel. The environment is super nice, and there's free bottled water downstairs. The breakfast was amazing, very Western-style. I stayed for three days and had a fantastic experience. It's about a kilometer from the city center and the Bell Tower, a pleasant walk away. The city has shopping areas. There's an ice cream shop downstairs at the hotel that's always busy, and diagonally opposite there's a Chinese supermarket, with Chinese restaurants and noodle shops nearby. It's really great, definitely my top choice for Ghent! The price is reasonable too. The room cards are all pink, super cute and thoughtful. There's a very humorous and attentive man at the front desk. He told me that after a certain time at night, only the back door would be open and the front desk would close. My flight was very early, and he also told me how to check out. His English was excellent!

The hotel offers complimentary drinking water, which is a great plus! It's conveniently located near the train station, making transportation easy. While it's a bit far from the old town, you can take a tram or walk there in about 20 minutes.

Didn't expect to find such a great hotel so close to the train station. The room wasn't huge, but it was very clean. The bed was a little narrow, but the charger outlets right by the headboard were super convenient. The bathroom was excellent, and breakfast was good too. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

A small, very clean, and tidy hotel, almost giving off a Japanese vibe. The front desk staff were efficient and clear-headed. The lobby offers complimentary coffee and water, along with a good selection of reasonably priced beverages for sale. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, easily comparable to any five-star hotel in Belgium. It's close to the train station, and there are plenty of various, relatively tasty restaurants nearby.

The room looks very cozy and they thoughtfully provided a kettle. The bed was also quite comfortable. It's very close to the train station, within walking distance, which is quite convenient.

Excellent! It's within walking distance to Ghent Station, making it a great choice if you're staying in Ghent and planning to take the train to Bruges for a day trip. If you enjoy walking, you can also easily walk back to the hotel from Ghent's main attractions.
