This was the most satisfying accommodation during my trip to Belgium. I was very fortunate to be upgraded to a suite, which was incredibly spacious and well-decorated. The turndown service was a pleasant surprise. If I come back, I'll definitely book a suite again. It's really good value for money in Europe, highly recommended.

This was a wonderful hotel! I was a bit worried as I was visiting by car, and Ghent has quite strict road regulations. However, before my stay, the hotel kindly emailed me detailed directions to avoid restricted roads, which was incredibly helpful. Their thoughtful assistance even before my arrival put me at ease. The location is also excellent. You can explore Ghent on foot, and it's very convenient as all the main attractions are within walking distance. The hotel itself is beautiful, and my room was lovely and cozy, making for a comfortable stay. And best of all, the breakfast was absolutely fantastic! There was a wide variety of delicious options. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, making my entire stay incredibly pleasant and memorable. If I ever go to Ghent again, I would definitely stay here. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

This is not a 4 star hotel experience. The room was dirty when we went in, the floor and the bed had not been cleaned well. There were marks on the walls and there was a rail that was broken on the luggage space. A small detail is that the bathroom robe and the slippers were missing and we had to go and ask for the slippers from the reception. There sauna space looked a bit run down as well. The heating is out during summer months but they do provide an electrical heater which is nice and the bathroom was cleaner than the rest of the room. The location is really good but other hotels were also near by.

A magnificent hotel in a historic building, right in the heart of Ghent. All the main sights are just a couple of minutes' walk away. This is probably one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in.

We had a really nice stay, the room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We only interacted with the front desk during check in and checkout, but they were very friendly. The lobby looks grand. There was free fruits, coffee, and water in the lobby. We felt it was worth the price we paid.

First of all, I really appreciate the amazing service and kindness. It was my solo trip for pleasure, and NH collection ghent was the best choice. Here are some reasons: 1. Employees are so kind and helpful. They even told me about some good souvenir options and festival information. 2. All the things are ready. Anything you need? They just give you the right thing. (For instance, shaver) 3. Room is very spacious and clean. I'm not sure it is new, but it feels like new. Four. Fine room cleaning service 5. Great facilities: They have restaurant & gym & even bar. Thank you for everything, I truly had a good time there.

Everything was perfect. The location is unbeatable, right in the city center. We arrived before check-in time and the room was already ready. The facilities were super comfortable and nice, with a coffee maker and tea.

In a city brimming with history at every corner, the NH Collection Gent, formerly known as NH Gent Belfort, balances Ghent’s past with a healthy dose of refined Belgian modernity. Firmly in Ghent’s city center, the hotel stands next to the Belfry, a bell tower dating to the 14th century, and an enduring symbol of Ghent’s independence. Within a few city blocks, other city sites are a short walk away including Stadhuis (the Town Hall), Gravensteen, a castle from the Middle Ages, Korenmarkt and Graslei Harbor. The hotel is also located in close proximity to performing arts venues, Saint Bavo’s Cathedral, the Baroque Saint Nicholas Church and Huis van Alijn. For outings further afield, travelers can take the Ghent tramway network from the nearby Gent Korenmarkt station. The hotel intertwines classic and contemporary décor in 174 welcoming rooms. Offerings include standard, standard new-style, superior and Suite rooms with views. Waffles and pancakes are the highlight of the hotel’s bountiful breakfast buffet. Take in lunch or dinner at the Van Artevelde restaurant and dine on international specialties. Enjoy a diverse selection of Belgian beers and cocktails at the lobby bar. Guests can also book one of 10 rooms for meetings, events or wedding receptions for up to 400 attendees.
