The perfect place to stay in the berg where the view is out of this world and the walks into the berg are on your doorstep. No need to get into a car whilst you are there. The full board provides excellent meal variety. The service was excellent. Highly recommend Champagne Castle Hotel as the place to stay

Champagne Castle hotel is right in the Drakensberg mountain so has the most fantastic views. The rooms are great, staff very friendly and the food is out of this world. Perfect. Our only wish would be to have had an old style map such as the ones Monks Cowl - Ezemvelo - provide for hiking. We can’t wait to return.

A real gem in the heart of the central Drakensberg. Buffet style meals catering for every possible taste with an incredible variety of beautifully presented food every meal. Wonderful ambience with a friendly staff who attend to your every request with a smile. Tranquil place to really enjoy the beauty of the area with a myriad things to do if you so desire. We just soaked in the beauty

As a repeat customer, I would like to sincerely thank ALL the Champagne Castle Hotel STAFF very much for ensuring our 4th visit was a 100% success. Marc (GM) immediately made us feel most welcome throughout our stay whilst engaging with his guests. If you enjoy great accommodation, hospitality, fantastic food as well as spectacular scenic views, this is without question THE place to be. The hotel also has a beautiful thatched roof chapel on site. Our wedding took place here on our 2nd visit in 2019. Champagne Caste Hotel is an exceptional special venue for a wedding and reception. The hotel wedding team were a dream to work with. Everything was perfect!

A beautiful hotel with amazing views of the mountains.breakfast,lunch and dinner was absolutely delicious and a lot of variety.Desserts were my highlights.It had such a beautiful Chrismassy vibe all around the hotel.The entertainment was on point... awesome work Rogers.The staff were all so friendly and accommodating.

Great stay, cannot beat the views. Enjoyed the staff and the food was excellent. Our previous visit was in 1991 and are looking forward to our next stay!!

Beautiful hotel, rooms are very comfortable, with stunning views of the mountains. Food is excellent, variety of food and delicious. The manager, Mr Mohammad, is most efficient and helpful, as well as the staff at the resort. Hats of to all of them. They go out of their way that the guests are well cared for. Definitely must go again.

Our favourite holiday destination. Our home away from home. As always the staff are fantastic, friendly, kind and helpful. The food is bountiful and super tasty. The little upgrades and new signage within the hotel grounds are a great addition. We look forward to returning soon

The hotel is in a very good condition with a great management team who engages with the customers and manage the staff well. The food was divine with good choice of meal options (Apply pie was the best ever!) The room was clean and in good condition. The bed and cushions were great! We'll definitely be back!
