We read a lot re this accommodation before we left, some were not so good , I don't see what anyone has to complain about though , it's what you pay for and believe me this wee place was really good. Clean and tidy , pool excellent , staff fabulous, breakfast continental, cheese ham, fruit tea, coffee, juices , fill your boots it was lovely . Down side, it is out of the way and transport unreliable, no fault of Villagio Alkantara . Anybody heading there , give me a wee message and can advise on getting to and fro

Just spent a week here. Accomodation was basic but spotlessly clean. Lovely pool area, with lots of young people having a great time. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Staff were great. Couple of issues we had were swiftly dealt with by the very helpful reception staff, don't understand some of the negative reviews on here.

The staff at Villaggio Alkantara could not have been better. Everyone was so helpful. Antonella and Linda in the bar were so friendly and Irene and the rest of the cleaning team couldn't do enough for us. Luca at reception also deserves a shout out for being great. We were a group of 10 people and were made to feel so at home and so looked after for our entire stay.

The rooms were fairly basic, but extremely clean and functional with good airconditioning. The place has a pretty big swimming pool and animation/activities for families. The people were very nice and the food was good for the price class being one of the cheaper places in the area with a swimming pool. Some points for improvements would be: The front garden could have used some shadow or a parasol, and there were many ants marching trough. Diner was on the cold side and the wifi was out for most of our stay. And it doesn't reach into the rooms we stayed at when it works. In all the positives really outweigh the negatives though so I think Vilaggio Alkantara deserves a good rating. Excellent for families too.

The way in we were both treated last year by the lovely staff we decided to go again this year and we are both so glad we did the moment you walk through the gates to the reception you know your in for a great time greeted by the reception team they will always make settling in a straight forward process breakfast staff always friendly with a smile and hello first thing breakfast is taken in a spacious air conditioned room food lovely lots of options if you want to spend time around the pool great team around to serve you drinks and food the man who does the lifeguarding looks after the pool area immaculately rooms are always cleaned every day new fresh towels soaps etc special mention to the cleaner who took it upon herself to help my girlfriend with luggage upon arrival showed us to our rooms thankyou definitely recommend this hotel and both me and my girlfriend will be going back

This hotel is absolutely lovely! All the staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are cleaned daily and brilliant views of Mount Etna! This is my second year coming to the hotel and il definitely be coming back next year! The pool area is stunning pool cleaned daily and has a nice bar area! 100% recommend this to anybody

Absolutely lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean! Lovely poolside with bar and a brilliant view of Mount Etna! Local shop and beach are only a short distance away and are easy accessible. Stayed here two years now and will definitely be coming back next year! Definitely recommend this stunning hotel

This is a lovely hotel! Has a huge pool area and lovely rooms with beautiful views. The lady who works the day shift at the pool bar is wonderful and made our trip so much better! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!
