"From the moment I arrived at the Etna Hotel, the reception staff set the tone with a warm welcome and genuine helpfulness. Every question was answered with a smile, and nothing was too much trouble. I chose to eat in the hotel’s restaurant every night of my stay – and I’m so glad I did. The two people running it deserve special mention for their friendliness, attentiveness, and the consistently excellent food. The atmosphere each evening was relaxed yet refined, and the service was simply fantastic. Breakfast each morning was perfect – exactly what I needed to fuel a day of adventures, whether trekking up Mount Etna (beautifully arranged by the hotel) or taking a trip to Syracuse (again, the hotel organised my taxi to the station – Vecchio Taxis were also brilliant). As a solo traveller, it means a lot when staff engage and make you feel genuinely welcome. The entire team here were on top form, turning a good trip into a truly memorable one. My bedroom was simple but functional, with a bathroom to match – everything clean and in good working order. The pool area was immaculate, clearly cared for with real attention to detail, and the optional extras such as bike hire were a nice touch. "We spent a wonderful holiday in this hotel and we were really very happy. We have found Carla, a very kind and available person, who has been very kind to advise us about various destinations and places to visit nearby. Our room was wide, comfortable and with a beautiful view of the Etna, which gave us the show of its feature smoking live. There was nothing in the room: a refrigerator, a safe, air conditioning and, above all, a comfortable and spacious bed. Breakfast was really excellent, with a wide choice between sweet and salt. A special mention is to the tasty cakes made by Mrs. Vera, a very good person, professional and always very kind. To complete the stay, the beautiful atmosphere of tranquility that breathes in the structure and the pleasant outdoor pool, ideal for relaxing moments. We strongly advise this hotel to whom we want to spend a holiday in the sign of peace, comfort and friendliness. We will surely return!"

"Luckily we weren't happy with room 1 and were moved to room 3. A good sized room with French windows and a view of Etna. Excellent bed and shower, clean and comfortable. The staff were all excellent and the meals were really good ,both breakfast and dinner. Car parking was on site and the grounds and pool area were all lovely(even in late October)."
