Bristol Hotel

Great location in the heart of Gibraltar. The room was spacious but a bit old-fashioned. Breakfast was average, but overall a comfortable stay.

Very nice hotel in the center of the Gibraltar main street with nice continental breakfast.

I picked the hotel because of it's location & the fact it had a pool. From the outside it looks modern, inside however it's stuck in the 1930's. Maybe that has a certain charm for some, for me not so much. My room 203 stank like it was also stuck in the 1930's, this was what i used most of my deodorant on...however despite leaving the windows open all day the smell remained... Great that I had a small fridge & a makeshift air con unit but I could not reduce the fan noise on the unit meaning I wasn't able to leave it on during the hot sticky night. The airport bus drops you a short walk away & everything is within walking distance. The breakfast was average as no hot food was included so it should state that - because a hot breakfast is standard in UK hotels. Some staff were lovely others felt a little rude. The pool area, bar & breakfast area is actually outside the hotel & across the road - definitely something i've never encountered before. However these areas were nice. The pool area especially so - kept to a nice standard, the pool was cleaned daily & it got the sun all day too. There were shady areas if people needed too. The pool bar was disappointing in that they didnt have a card machine - it's 2025!! Forcing you to pay by cash when you only get back Gibraltar pounds which you cannot use in London is not ideal. So I just went to the local shop instead. I was able to check in extremely early which was a massive plus for me & they do have a luggage room for storage. They dont however have a shower room which is strange considering the size of the hotel. Paying for a late check out was also very expensive at over half the cost of my actual room price. Overall if I found a cheap enough deal & I got a room that didn't smell i probably would return - just for pool.

Good location！Next to the main street and the plaza. Easy to access any where. The customers may ask the staying hotel. Bristol is well noted on its history.

Perfect location, near to everything. Bus stop across the road. Friendly, kind, honest, hardworking staff. I couldn't fault them, they make this place a place I want to return to. Rooms had everything we needed and were very clean. We had a small fridge and ensuite with toiletries. There is in safe a reception. The room had aircon. There is a lift to higher floors. Rooms look a little dated with carpets and dark wood but that didn't bother us as we dont spend time in a room apart from sleeping. It was good value with a simple breakfast each morning, toast, cereal, croissants, cheese, ham, boiled eggs and tea, coffee, chocolate and juice. Very adequate for us to start the day. We had a great stay and hope to return. Reception staff were so helpful. The pool and loungers were lovely and the location is close to everything. When I accidently left my handbag in breakfast is was returned to me with no cash, jewellery or cards missing. I look forward to returning next year.

I needed a hotel in Gibraltar at short notice and as little cost as possible this on came up so I booked it very close too where I needed to be arranged reception very helpful and friendly. Small lift to 3rd floor hotel still stuck in the 1970 ,room very large a twin mobile air con unit in room works perfectly but a bit nosey at night all plug sockets as uk . Tv in the room bonus with this hotel has a small pool with a pool bar across the road where they serve breakfast Sandwich and drinks through the day would say 3 star hotel but staff deserve the extra star

Quiet, no frills hotel, excellently located off Cathedral Square just yards from Main Street. It's a sort of tired old world grandeur, so clean but tatty with old fashioned decor. But who cares. A hotel is for sleeping in and the bed was comfy, the room was quiet and the air con was excellent. So job done. I've stayed here before and had no hesitation in doing so again.

Hotel is nice central located, you can walk to the main square and on the Rock to see the cave and the macaques. Room is big, breakfast is very basic and food option is very limited boiled eggs / ham / cheese / yogurt. Juice and cofee.
