Really lovely place in the heart of the Yorkshire dales. Very quaint. Enjoyed an extremely comfy nights sleep. Very clean and had a lively bath.

Great overnight night stay. The room was lovely, the food & service was amazing. Lovely seating area outside, the sun was shining. It is in a great location 20 minutes from Malham Cove and 20 minutes to Ingleton Waterfalls! Will definitely recommend.

The Harts Head is a great place to stay. We were made very welcome by Pippa and all the staff, special mention for the young man who served us in the resturant. We slept really well in Room one which was clean and comfortable with tasteful decor. Freely available juice and water in the landing fridge was a nice touch. We had a lovely view over Giggleswick . The breakfast was excellent. We definitely hope to return in the future.

We visited a couple of times as a family for food and drinks, both times we all enjoyed the food and thought the service and ambience was good. Didn’t really have to book a table before turning up, and the location was good from our cottage in Giggleswick

5/5 My partner and I were staying in the Yorkshire dales for a week away. We passed this hotel/pub and stopped for some lunch and boy are we glad we did. The host was extremely friendly and attentive giving us some advice for local cheese places and menu recommendations. He also gave our cockerpoo some water and said there is a doggy menu! I went with his recommendation of the steak and ale pie which comes with chips, veg and gravy. My girlfriend had the leek and potato soup which came with a bread roll that looked like a mini loaf of bread which was quaint! She said it was the nicest soup she has had in a very long time, possible ever. The pie was superb. Not greasy at all, lovely and crisp on the top and soft on the sides with huge chunks of prime shredded and chunky beef. It was delicious. The veg was rustic chunky cut carrots, parsnips and cabbage. It was cooked really nicely. Soft but not sloppy and it was seasoned well. Thoroughly recommend and we will come back for the roast dinner this Sunday before we leave! Thanks for a lovely lunch! I was too keen to get into it I forgot to picture the pie!

Lovely 1 night stay at the harts head last weekend! Room was compact but perfect. Clean comfortable and had everything you would need. Staff friendly and helpful and a stunning little town to have a wander around in. Thanks a bunch Ed and Dave
