Pondok Santi Estate Gili Trawangan

Pondok Santi Estate is truly an exceptional place to stay. We stayed at Pondok Santi Estate in Gili Trawangan for four nights, and from the very first moment, everything exceeded our expectations. The level of service is outstanding — a true 5 out of 5 — and the experience feels much more like a five-star luxury resort rather than a hotel. Every detail is beautifully designed and perfectly maintained. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and extremely comfortable. Housekeeping is impeccable, and the staff is attentive without ever being intrusive. The restaurant experience deserves special praise. The food quality, presentation, and service were consistently excellent. Breakfasts were a highlight of our stay — fresh, delicious, and served in a peaceful, beautiful setting that made every morning feel special. What truly sets this resort apart is the warmth and professionalism of the team. From the room staff to the restaurant team, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. Personally, Gili Trawangan itself is not a destination that impressed me greatly. However, Pondok Santi Estate completely transformed our experience and made the island a place I would happily return to again — specifically because of this resort. We feel very fortunate to have stayed here and are deeply grateful for such a memorable and high-quality experience. Pondok Santi Estate is a true sanctuary of comfort, elegance, and exceptional hospitality, and we would not hesitate to return.

We loved the peaceful surroundings, the kindness of your staff (always smiling and welcoming!), and the exceptional service-especially the delicious breakfasts we looked forward to every morning. We were truly touched by the thoughtful gesture of preparing pastries for our departure. It's rare to find a place that combines such attentive hospitality with the serenity of nature.

My husband and I recently spent our birthdays and anniversary here and it was literal perfection! The location is 10/10, close enough to everything (including biking to sunset point) but also felt secluded. Gorgeous pool with swim up bar overlooking the picturesque grounds. The food was also the best we had on the island. Amazing massages in room. Staff were SO kind and attentive. The snorkelling trip we did on the Princess Margaux was so great (credit to Kholid for taking some great content on our GoPro!) They also organised a transfer directly from the resort beach to the golf course on Lombok for 9 holes after brekky on the beach for my husband’s birthday. Also one morning we saw turtles in the water as we were waiting for breakfast on the beach and the staff quickly got us a towel, wet shoes and snorkel mask so I could jump right in whilst waiting for food! So lush! As a seasoned traveller I can easily say this was one of the best experiences we’ve had. Thank you so much!

The best place on Gili T! Amazing location, amazing staff, amazing food!! I felt sooooo well treated here. Unfortunately, I had to leave after 3 nights already, would have loved to stay longer!

Simply, when I come again to Gili, I definately stay here again.

The hotel is on the small island of gilit and is very peaceful. Hotel Restaurant environment Room and service did not leave us unsatisfied, the staff was super hospitable. Breakfast was very varied every day and we were taken care of in every way during the days we were there. Room 11 in particular, with its beautiful pool and lawn, was the only pity we couldn't stay there longer

We had an ocean pool villa! Hands down best villa on the island! Definitely worth it and would highly recommend.
