Architecture and Design: Set in a renovated 18th-century baroque palace, the property seamlessly blends historical charm with modern aesthetics. Many guests praised the thoughtful interior design, creative spaces, and attention to detail throughout the hotel.

The location, ambience, amenities, staff, amazing pool and rooftop breakfast, onsite brewed beer, elegant bedroom all combined to make it one our best experiences in MANY years of traveling. (I rarely take the time to write a review, but it was truly exceptional)

Slightly odd hotel ( but very pleasant staff), in a beautiful setting. For example roof terrece open in evening on monday as advertised but not able to get drinks - ie no telephone to call down order but on sunday was staffed. Lunch served in courtyard restaurant on sunday but on monday all day brunch. doors to street only open at certain times so can't always watch world go by. Breakfast on one day upstairs and next down. All staff only speak to you in english unless you talk back in Spanish. there were twelve light switches in bedroom: bathroom light eluded me (sure my incompetence!) great massage staff/spa area. Kind of like being in Spain but in a chain hotel idea of luxury. I should also add the location is outstanding and having a glass of cava when the above doors are open is wonderfull. An all over the place but honest review.

Absolute luxury. My only regret is not staying longer. Amazing vegan options for breakfast, wonderful, walkable area and the spa was the highlight of my trip. Counting down until I can stay again.

Good not great Generally a good experience with a few flaws. A lot of facts about the hotel work well but service is a little spotty. Two examples came up: the first was that the roof deck area was not always open for breakfast. When I checked in they asked for an approximate time for breakfast which I provided. That time was within the roof deck's opening hours. I was not asked if I wanted indoor or outdoor. When I went to the roof to have breakfast I was told that I had to go downstairs as reservations had to be made for the roof breakfast (though no one was there). This was all just very strange - It's fine if there's a system but you need to tell people what it is. Second example: My stay was on a whim because my train back to Barcelona was cancelled. As a result I only had my daytime clothes. Nothing too casual but more daytime than night time appropriate. When I came back from doing some exploring I thought to have a cocktail in the bar in the courtyard. Since I was coming from outside the hotel it was not immediately obvious I was a guest. The host gave me a sort of condescending sorry we don't have space at first. When I asked if they had any tables held for hotel guests the manner completely changed. They did not have anything outside so I ultimately skipped the drinks, but it rubs me a bit the wrong way when there's this sort of phoney exclusivity. Not very pleasant.

A hidden oasis off a bustling street. My wife and I had a perfect stay here for one night. We loved the decor and the building. A gem of a place.

Can’t wait to return What a gorgeous little hotel! Private terrace, a pool to cool off in, and right in the middle of the beautiful old town. Staff incredibly attentive and helpful, and they had a special offer on spa treatments which we enjoyed whilst there.

Great historic building updated to feel sophisticated, modern, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast, the bar and cocktail areas were great too. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location is right in the heart of the old city so it was a bit noisy at night but that was a small price to pay for such a lovely hotel.
