Location perfect just little walk into town, shops and bars . Hotel was stunning felt like we were going back in time just the character of the building from when myself and my friend walked in . Welcoming drink of Fizz on the cabin package an milk and cookies on the room service. Room was so compact, bed was so comfortable, the mirror was a tv we discovered lol , There was enough room for are belonging, Wardrobe was in the wall , Bathroom very good as it was bright enough to get ready as are room wasn’t in bright light. Just added to the decor . Value for money yes definitely because of the service, the breakfast the room really enjoyed our stay .Bar in hotel was very good excellent service all round , definitely stay again 🙏x

Booked the Presidential Suite for my husband's birthday and went for the Summer Special, Prosecco on Demand package. We were welcomed with a glass of prosecco on arrival, staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was a bottle of prosecco waiting for using our room and a birthday card for my husband which I thought was a nice touch. The room (404) was stunning and very spacious, it was nice to have space to sit and relax away from the sleeping area. The room was immaculate and we loved the dark wood decor. The bed was the comfiest bed I think I've ever slept in and for once I slept through the night!! We had cocktails in The Sacred Garden, they were lovely and again the staff were excellent. Breakfast options were really good and the breakfast itself was lovely. Communication with the staff was done through WhatsApp which was convenient. Check out was easy and convenient. We would definitely come back here, one of the best hotels we've stayed in.

Went with the wife for our 3 year wedding anniversary as a surprise. From the second she walked in to the building she was amazed by the look of the place, it's gorgeous. The entire stay was fantastic, everywhere you look it's beautifully styled. We stayed in a cabin room which in all fairness is quite small, but for the one night is definitely enough. The bed is comfy, the room is spotless and cosy. The shower is absolutely incredible btw. The milk and cookies button was a great extra and something we were looking forward to all night and when they arrived it absolutely met our massive expectations. I've seen other reviews mentioning about how the place is very dark and potentially hard to navigate, it's kinda true. From the second you walk in your eyes need to adjust to it but within 5 seconds you're fine, it adds to the allure of the building. With it also being next to a homeless shelter isn't ideal for anyone who could be a bit scared but having security on the door put us well at ease for the night. Breakfast was great too! All the staff were great too. Overall, this place is amazing well worth the look, has it's downsides but they are well compensated for so I wouldn't even think Twice about booking again. 5/5

I booked this hotel at the last minute due to a mix up at another hotel when I was I Glasgow for a conference. I quickly checked the reviews which were all 5* so I booked at 5pm. Unfortunately this hotel was not for me, as a solo traveller attending a work conference, the vibe was unusual and quirky. All the areas are very dark, you need a phone light to find the door lock in the corridor and again when you enter the room. Inside the room, the amenities (eg coffee machine etc) are hidden by large mirrors which were not obvious. I had to return to reception to get instructions to find these. The room was quiet but I didn't feel comfortable. The staff were great and the bathroom was lovely. I think it would be completely different with a partner or group of friends. As a solo traveller travelling for work (maybe a little stressed!) I found it a little unnerving!
