Britannia Inn Glasgow

Staff were not great, ignored on arrival for 15 minutes while they talked, sent to 3 different rooms none matching the booking we made then had to wait 30 minutes while they made a room to booking (1 double and 2 singles). We had to request items for the room such as additional towels as there weren't enough for all of us in the room. Asked for extra coat hangers as there was only 1 in the room and nowhere to hang our wet coats - promised but never arrived. Room wasn't the cleanest and the bathroom smelt. Everything was very dated in the hotel. Breakfast was ok but not great. Location was good but also very noisy and windows did not open to let in any fresh air. View from room was ok. Wouldn't return or recommend.

Was very unwell, and the staff here weee fantastic, They could have been in there rights to charge me for extra night, although they kindly gave be a couple of hours, to better. Fantastic, and very fair of them 👏 💯🌟🌟🌟🌟

I forgot that the Commonwealth Games had started so obviously this hotel felt justified in hiking their prices. I appreciate it was a Saturday night but £266 is extortionate as far as I'm concerned. On the positive side the room was clean, tidy and the bed was comfortable. The lifts worked well and the location to the city centre was excellent. For the most part the staff were helpful although not exactly the friendliest I've encountered. Overall I'd recommend this hotel but not when big events are taking place as the price doesn't match what's on offer.

Disgusting room not clean at all not as describes looks like a asylum domestic place and staff are soo rude and unhelpful and not polite at all no food at restaurant at all water leaking through the roofs

Mind-blowing! The hotel is in a quiet area, but not far from the shops and restaurants. The room was tidy and fresh, and the staff are polite and offer a warm smile

Very clean place room was lovely for the price fresh bed sheets bed was so comfortable beautiful view the staff at the desk are always so helpful and friendly

Clean room with good amount of space. No slippers provided
