BE CAREFUL! PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY! THEY ARE STEALING YOUR INFORMATION! It cannot be believed my credit card information has been stolen from them... It is the first time my credit card is fraud. I already paid via Trip.com, but they still WROTE DOWN my credit card information. I don't understand why they wrote down all credit card information like credit card number, expiring date, security code and name instead of making the deposit payment. Now I understand it, they just steal your information and fraud it! I only provided this credit card information for them. I used other credit cards or Apple Pay in other places, the credit card information could not be stolen from others. And my credit card bank notified that my credit card is fraud in Bulgaria a week later... Suggestion: Please stop stealing credit cards issued in the US, you cannot steal a penny from them. Meanwhile, the first bed gave me is very the dirty bed, I changed another one, but it is still not good. I only stayed 7 hours there and slept very bad! Horrible experience overall.

Never would I stay here again. I was kept awake from people in the next room partying all night also arguing. I did go to the front desk and say about it but nothing was done about it. I was raging but didn’t take it out on the staff. I was given a late checkout for free but not that it helped at all.

Private room and shower, I felt safe there. Check out at 11, internet is good and they were friendly!! It was easy to find and there are locations all over, I’d feel comfortable even by myself. The staff asks if you need any recommendations and there was plenty of room for three adults, mate 😉

Adam, the night shift concierge, was an absolute hero. I only stayed two nights here, but it was comfortable, safe and worth the price. The hostel room that I was in has 6 different beds, 3 different bunk beds, everyone coming here seemed nice.

Overall this place is nice and it's in a good location. What I did not like was the laundry situation, upon checking in I asked about laundry and the women at the front desk said it was 7€ and I could get it back the next afternoon. Well the next night came and I had to go ask the front desk and they had to go look for it once I got the clothes back it was mostly ruined, I'm not sure what they did but my cream sweater was basically all grey and my husbands pants had grey spots on it. I would probably skip the laundry and do it down the street so they don't ruin your clothes. Plus it's a very small bag for them to be charging so much.

I stayed here for a night in March for a short trip to Glasgow. It was inexpensive, which was the primary factor in my decision, but I don't think I'd stay here again. I had to wait for a while after check-in at 3pm because my room wasn't ready yet. The room itself was okay, down some stairs, not too crammed, and all the beds had privacy curtains. Each bed also has a light and socket, which is basically a necessity these days but not a given everywhere. There were lockers in the room, but they were so shaky and only fitted a certain size of padlock, so I didn't bother to use one as I knew I'd be making an absolute racket every time I put my bag in or took it out. There was an ensuite bathroom which is always a plus, knowing you don't have to worry about forgetting your key/card every time. It was spacious and the shower was wonderful, really strong, and there was even a bathtub (though I can't imagine anyone using it in an eight-person dorm). Unfortunately using the shower basically flooded half the ensuite, and all the guests had to use toilet roll to wipe up all the water. Location is okay. It's not too far from the train station or city centre (though there is a big hill between the hostel and city centre), but far enough that you don't get late night party noise outside. It's also closer to the museums in the west. That being said, there really isn't much else to do in the area; it was pretty run down, with many streets closed for construction, and the restaurant and night life selection was very limited. I was looking forward to a decent sleep thanks to the curtains and the fact that we were far enough from the city centre, but that was a pipe dream. The entire hostel was paper thin. You could hear everything going on in the building, every person that passed our door (which was right across from the kitchen), and on top of that, right outside our window was where people would congregate to smoke or talk loudly on their phones all night. It also didn't help that I had a lot of inconsiderate people in my room who let their alarms blare loudly at all times of morning. I didn't enjoy the vibe of the place either. Everywhere on the route to my room there were guests sitting in random corners on laptops, and there were so many older men that I was really glad I'd booked a female dorm. If you can afford something better, definitely stay elsewhere.

Great location. Friendly welcome when checking in, and all the staff I came across was helpful. Room spacious, and privacy curtains great. You could not sit up in the bed like you would at home, with the wall behind you. Toilet roll was damp in the room, it was as if someone put the toilet roll in the holder wet. Shower room was nice, with a shelf for your shampoo etc. Lockers not big enough for big suitcases. The TV room was uninviting. Great value for money, would stay again.

Very friendly staff and comfy bed, room was surprisingly comfortable. Plenty of cheap food options too and great location too. Close enough to the city centre but far away enough if you want a bit more peace and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Checked in at 6pm. Returned at 3am someone asleep in my allocated bed even though my belongings were next to/on it. Reception refused to wake him offered another room with a top bunk which for health reasons I had to refuse. Was told would have to sleep in a freezing cold lounge. After 2 hours sleep had my duvet and pillow taken off me as people were waking up and coming downstairs. When I initially got upset I was threatened by reception I would be ejected from the building. I am a 47 year old female and I was travelling alone. The reason the person was in my bed because someone had also taken his. Given a breakfast voucher by way of compensation. Coffee cold and only very limited selection. I have asked for a full refund of the £70 I paid. Staff rude and unhelpful. Avoid!!!! This was on 8th July 2023. Had to accept sofa in lounge or spend the night outside in the rain in the middle of Glasgow city.

For someone like me who doesn't care about fancy hotels as you only spend about 8 hours a day in them and you are usually asleep during those 8 hours, it was a great place. It was clean, had a bed, toilet, and a bath/shower. Nothing more required.

Most of the staff don't care about customers, the rooms were packed out with people being loud and obnoxious, I complained about it and was told that's the hostel experience. My second night there was police outside the hostel arresting somebody, and the staff didn't care. My last night there was a woman screaming down the phone in the common room, after hours, but the staff didn't care. Would not stay here again, it's a chain of hostels looking for your money, not to give you a 'good hostel' experience.
