This hotel, despite its age, is well-maintained and suitable for a short stay. The breakfast was quite satisfactory.

Everyone was friendly, directions were easy to find, breakfast was good and room cleaning was available. A very satisfying trip. However, there is a bar downstairs which can be noisy in the middle of the night and there were no slippers.

Can't fault this hotel,staff very helpful and rooms big and clean.Great selection for breakfast and close to both bus train and underground.

Hotel room was spacious with good amenities and the only minor problem was the location as it is bit far away from city center.

The ground floor was a bit damp and dreary, and there were a few bugs that kept me awake all night. There was a long wait for checkout. The evaluation level is seriously not met.

Excellent decorations with warm staffs! Also, the breakfast is quite good, supplied with sausage, eggs, bacons, and cafe.

This trip was to see a Concert in the Hydro. The experience was wonderful and thanks to the Argyll it helped made it possible. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The journey to the venue from the hotel was ideal and the breakfast was very good.

I had a lovely clean and tidy room the bathroom was spotless and well equipped bus stop across the road 50 yards from the front door plenty eateriesclose at hand

After booking this hotel 6 weeks in advance for a night because of an event in Glasgow. Unfortunately the event was moved forward a week and when we asked the argyll to swap the day they said they wouldn't. They said they would, then said they had no rooms when they were empty and then they said it's not there policy. Any excuse when they could have easily sorted it out without any fuss. We never went and had to lose our money. They were spiteful nasty people and feel that they wouldn't help us because we were English. Avoid this hotel. They're not to be trusted.

Good location & Friendly staff ☺️

The location is very good, very close to GCU, and the Kevin Grove Art Museum is a 5-minute walk away. I booked this because the meeting point for the tour was there. But I don't know why, the two-day stay I booked was more expensive, 1200 on average, while it's only 600-700 on weekdays. I still feel that the room is a little crowded if I live alone, and the breakfast is average. If it's 600-700 on weekdays, I would recommend it. 1200 is a little expensive.

The hotel is in a good location and very clean. However, the two male front desk staff at the front desk on the evening of 9.4 and the morning of 9.5 were very bad. The first one called to ask if they could help heat up the food, but was rejected. In fact, it only took a few minutes (the hotel does not have a public microwave, even the youth hostel has one, and I hoped to go to the restaurant to help heat it up, but I disagreed). I asked Ctrip to help communicate, but was also rejected. The attitude was very bad when I checked in at night. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the mattress was moderately soft and hard, but the hot water for the shower was hot and cold. When I checked out in the morning, the old couple in front also reported the same problem and asked for compensation. The front desk said it was not his problem. I also reported the same problem, but they ignored me completely, and even threw the check-out card impatiently. They said goodbye without even looking at me. I will pick up the luggage in the afternoon. The female front desk staff in the afternoon is quite nice. In short, the service industry should be trained well as the front desk. The two men did not smile and refused to do trivial things.

The room was clean, although the WiFi was slow, but overall it was worth the price.
