Stayed in one of the rooms for two nights for my 37th birthday with my partner. Was a lovely time. Good staff, venue and food. Room was not bad at all and ended up with one of the ones with a nice view of the Glastonbury Tor. Sadly the Glastonbury information center is being worked on but there was virtually no noise from that. Was also a good location to base from as it is in the center of town between the high street, natural water springs and the abbey ruins. Would happily stay there again and recommend others.

Lovely pub opposite the Tuesday market. Great bar staff efficient and friendly. Didn’t have food but it looked decent coming out to others tables. A blend of local and tourist clientele. I had a good sized filter coffee (designated driver) and hubby had a nice pint of Guinness.

So, we booked a room here at this pub on the main street in Glastonbury. Room 4 had views up to the Tor on the hill and a huge bed. The bathroom was tiny and we struggled a little for space in there when showering. Very bright in the room from street lighting and a little noisy as you would expect, (located on the High Street). Couldn't fault the comfy bed and everything was clean. Could do with a new shower room but I'm being fussy. Breakfast was decent enough and the staff in the bar were friendly and cheerful.

The room was very clean, the staff very friendly, the food very good, and the waitress Paige was very happy and helpful. Outside seating at the front, large beer garden at the back I was there with family and friends, and I would highly recommend staying here, I will definitely be staying here again

Lively pub, good food very reasonably priced. Great bands playing and amazing bar staff….especially Fey! All set in the heart of Glastonbury, a magical town full of all the weird and wonderful and the friendliest people x

Went for dinner at The Market House Inn having been tempted by the online menu, to discover an entirely different, limited and far more expensive menu on offer. Undeterred, we ordered our food and my starter (utterly delicious) was delivered at the same time as all the mains ordered by my friends. I sat twiddling my thumbs while they polished off their main courses and eventually received mine (mediocre) long after they had eaten theirs . I don't feel the prices were justified and the service was under par considering all the glowing reviews I have seen. Not the culinary experience we were expecting. More than a little disappointed.
