"Good stay here. Odd checking in. Arrived at 4.00pm ish. No one at the checkin desk. I waited, then shouted hello in a very restrained british way, sat down and waited some more. After a few minutes more I heard chatting behind a nearby door, so did a little more helloing. After about 10 minutes a lady came out from that room, and said very quickly I could ring a mobile number for service. Hmm. Anyway, I guess we all have off days, and the rest of the stay went very well. Everything worked in the room, except the headboard light, which flickered but never stayed on. Not worth reporting. I had a room at the back with nice view of the Glossop Brook. Very peaceful. It was nice to have a heater which was simple to operate, and more importantly it worked. I would heartedly recommend staying here, and the bakery just around the corner was just fantastic - go there for your breakfast."

"Stayed whilst the D-Day celebrations were on in Glossop. So the town and pub were very busy. The staff even very business were fantastic and so helpfully. Allowing us to store our bikes as we were cycling the transpennie way. Lovely room too. Many thanks to all."
