"Stayed for a night at the Swan as a base for exploring the nearby Devil’s Punch Bowl, only 20 minutes away by car. Parking just opposite was convenient, and the pub has a lovely atmosphere. We had a room with 2 floors and a balcony, sited at the rear of the building so away from any road noise. It was great price if booked direct through the pub’s website. Clean, spacious and comfortable. We also had dinner there on the evening we stayed and the food and service were excellent - beautiful steak, venison and sticky toffee pudding - compliments to the chef and staff. If we are ever back in the area, I would have no hesitation in staying again."

"Such a wonderful experience!!! The hotel is very conveniently situated, about 7mins walk to the railway station and is right on high street ( centre of town). The room is not too spacious but just what you need! It’s very beautiful and cosy and with a fan!! ( definitely needed in this hot weather!) I love the welcome hand written note from housekeeping, so thoughtful. Everyone at the hotel is super friendly and helpful. Food is amazing and if you are coming soon, must try their summer spritz specials. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that is coming to the region. This is THE BEST value for money in our UK trip. I would give a 6 out 5 😅"
