Literally the best guest house I have ever been. Alexandre, Nana and their children (our special greetings and thanks to Elisabedi!) are more than amazing hosts. You arrive as a guest and leave as a friend - and it's fare from being just a phrase. Do not hesitate to book - you shouldn't miss this experience of Georgian hospitality! The hose is nice and clean, the rooms and the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is really delicious. Nevertheless, the exceptional hospitality of them will make this place definitely a highlight of your trip to Georgia. And by the way the Tmogvi Fortress is incredible (for us it was more amazing even to Vardzia - see the attached picture) and to swim in the Mtkvari (Kura) river is definitely an experience.

We reached Vardzia late at night and were welcomed with open arms and a lot of wine by Aleksandre. Guest House Aleksandre is a ten minutes drive to the cave city. The B&B's rooms are basic but value for money. We got a taste of the famed Georgian hospitality (finally) at Aleksandre's place. We had a great time. Thank you Tamada Aleksandre :)

Встретились с Александром и его семейством спустя 6 лет с предыдущей моей поездки. Как же всё изменилось в лучшую сторону! Прошлый раз был в 2017 один, а в этот раз в сентябре 2023 с мамой. И спустя 6 лет мы сидели под ночным небом под вино и чачу , говорили тосты и вспоминали мой прошлый приезд и не только. Если поеду ещё раз, то и конечно же снова заехал бы с удовольствием!!!
