"Marcos is absolutely wonderful, he was incredibly accommodating. I went for a long birthday weekend with my girlfriend and her mother, and it was the perfect place. My girlfriend and I are cyclists, and loved the surrounding scenery and some epic climbs, and only got caught by one freezing rain shower, but luckily we made it back to the hotel in time not to freeze. The hotel is situated in a beautiful little mountain town, perfect for a relaxed day or some hiking, but is also a close drive to beasain for a coffee, or San Sebastián for tapeo, or Zarautz for a bit of surfing. 10/10 experience, highly recommended!"

Hotel Imaz ★★

"Segura only has one hotel - the 2 star Hotel Imaz. We were actually pleasantly surprised, the couple who run the hotel were super friendly and the rooms were a decent size and were comfortable. The restaurant / bar on the ground floor isn't run by the hotel and really is the only option either in Segura or nearby - but it has decent beers and wine and the meals we had were delicious. The reason for 3 stars not 4 is simply down to the price that felt high"

"I was staying alone for business. The hotel had a high rating but to be honest I don’t know why. When you check in there is a terrible Smokey/dirty smell coming from the bar area. This was a bad start. I was told at check-in that even though my confirmation stated bed and breakfast that I needed to pay for breakfast. Obviously I didn’t bother. The room was ok but nothing special. No real lighting in the room and the AC was only noise. Even though I was on the top floor it was very noisy from the outside bar area. Having stayed extensively in this area can tell you there are a lot better hotels for a lot less money. I won’t be staying again."
