Hotel Admiral is located in the very heart of Golden Sands resort, 98 feet from the sandy beach at first line, next to the lively pedestrian area, 16 miles from Varna Airport and 11 miles from Varna center. The hotel provides 24-hour reception desk, 24-hour security, free of charge private beach with volleyball playground, indoor SPA swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, free Wi-Fi, free of charge billiard game and live music performance every night. For each room is included 1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds on the beach or swimming pool upon availability, sunbeds reservations are not available.
With it’s incredible and incomparable location in the center of the Golden Sands resort and right by the waterfront, completely renovated for summer 2024, the five-star Hotel Admiral provides its guests with high level quality in every aspect.
There is a gym located in the SPA center, Finnish sauna, Infrared sauna, Salt room, Steam bath, Hydromassage bath and relax zone as well (Paid services). Guests can visit also the beauty studio, massages and hairdresser salon against additional payment. We provide laundry and ironing within 24 hours as a paid service.
All rooms in the hotel have individually controlled air conditioning, balcony, a flat-screen interactive LED TV, a safety deposit box and hairdryer. The mini bar is on request and it’s payable. Bathrooms are fitted either with a shower or a bathtub. Early check-in / Late check-out is against additional payment.
Hotel ADMIRAL has three different restaurants – Main restaurant (Buffet), and A- la carte Mediterranean Azzurro restaurant which at lunch time is also buffet and Asian Samba restaurant (Azzurro and Asian restaurant are opened in a high season – July, August). Guests with reservation for minimum 7 nights can get a free dinner by prior reservation with minimum 1 day before on the reception desk.
Main restaurant also provides an organized themed dinners such as traditional Bulgarian and Italian.
The hotel has 4 different bars, where you can enjoy your drink, such as Lobby bar, freshly full renovated Viennese café, Piano bar and the Pool bar.

Over priced we had a coffee here and pay 15 lev for two coffees we waited ages for table service, we had to go in and order, not even a biscuit with the coffee we didn’t even have the bill come to the table we had to go in and pay. You can’t charge this prices without the service that is ment to reflect the price, the coffee taste better from the machine that you see on the streets

The hotel is very luxurious to look at. I arrived on 21st sept and was advised season had ended. Zero entertainment. Staff were not the friendliest. Zero English people. Food was very limited. Great location. Pool looks nice but not looked after. The birds enjoyed the pool. All sunbeds covered in bird poo. Didn’t want to swim in case I caught something. Would stay again but definitely not all inclusive!

Unbelievable that this hotel has 5 stars, three is more appropriate. Pros: Nice hotel, nice rooms, good location, nice view. We were allowed to keep the room for a few hours after check-out time without paying. Cons: The food is downright bad. It is mostly cooked and almost the same every day. I think that there are no good chefs working there, because I often wondered how you can ruin good food like that. The late breakfast consists of the leftovers from the early breakfast. Of the 10 questions that you ask the desk staff, they do not know how to answer 8 times. If you ask to speak to the manager, it is noted, but the manager does not contact you. For five days we asked for a make-up mirror, which is in the photos, but was not in the room. Finally that mirror arrived after those five days. The wellness is mentioned in the booking, but it is not included in ultra all inclusive. Never experienced anything like this before, so there were no guests in the wellness. There is a separate terrace, where you get coffee in a cup without a saucer. After 22:00 you have to pay for the same coffee from the same machine, but then you do get a glass cup and a saucer. What contempt for the all-inclusive guests! At 24:00 the restaurant closes without saying anything to the people on the terrace. Then the door is suddenly closed, a "Good night" is apparently not possible. Moreover, the same music every night, very annoying. One woman can decide that you cannot get foreign spirits after 22:00, although the rule is after 24:00. Complaining to the reception is pointless, the bar is apparently outside the organization. At the swimming pool, which is beautiful but unfortunately is in the shade almost the entire day, I was woken up one day by the life guard with a tap against the lounger, with the word "Finished!". Never experienced this before. Ten years ago this was a high class hotel, but that is no longer the case. I suspect bad management.

Great looking but very pricey hotel. Impossible to pay by most of the locals. Politically connected to former prime Minister as a lot of the other hotels on the first line in golden sands. They are really nice but unplayable for Bulgarians. I have taken notice from a Bulgarian lady born 1948 still working because she became 170 lev pension (per month) which is worth 75 Euros because of the high inflation during the mandate of that guy. Now he charges nearly 1000 euro for a night for a room. No go.

Great location horrible service. minuses - I paid 30 leva per day for parking - I asked for a cot for the child, I didn't receive it - we asked for water and milk for the baby to have in the room, we were sent to buy it - we asked for an ice coffee at the bar and even though we had ultra all inclusive they asked us for money - I asked to speak to the manager and they laughed in my face - room cleaning once a week - we had to go to the maids to ask them for toilet paper and shower gel - on the beach you would go to the table and find your deck chair occupied. Truly a missed vacation. This hotel is full of Romanians who are used to being humiliated for their money.

Excellent place for relax!!! I love this place!!!! I like that stepping out the hotel i am on the perfect beach or pool ( depends on your preference) 🙂and the top of all is the excellent food, fresh and delicious!!!! As soon as possible i will go there again!!

It is an excellent 5 stars resort on Golden sands. The management is doing great job. All the staff is hard working and going above and beyond to satisfy the guest’s needs. The food is excellent, the pool and the beach are amazing. Special “thank you” to the manager Zlatin Kostadinov, who is professional and quick to respond to any inquiries. Great vacation.

This hotel desperately tries to be a 5 star hotel, but if you've ever experienced the service and environment of a real 5 star hotel, you'll understand that this is a 4 star property at best. I won't go into all the details of why they fail miserably such as the food quality and even not saying hello when you arrive. Guests are treated as a burden. Our biggest issue was that our vacation almost didn't happen because the hotel cancelled our reservation when our bank flagged the payment as fraudulent and denied it. The hotel just emailed to say the reservation was cancelled. No opportunity to fix it or talk to someone or even get ab email response. So of course I made a new one and paid more. The payment went through because we told our bank that this was a legitimate charge. The new reservation had a higher price. But what if there were no rooms left? There were other five star hotels in Varna that had no rooms left because I tried. So if we couldn't get a room, what would happen to our trip and all our plans? I emailed a few times to ask them to honor our original reservation and price. No response. I spoke with the manager. He didn't care. They had multiple opportunities to make it right and did nothing. I will leave you with this story: We arrived early and were told by the front desk to come back in 5 minutes and the room will be ready. We went back 20 minutes later after others who arrived after us were given rooms and the man was irritated. Even though we followed his instructions and even gave him extra time, his response was that if we don't want to be patient "maybe we can go to another hotel." So that's what you can expect here day after day and maybe this review will actually help you "go to another hotel."
