Xingjian Yadan Future City Luxury Camp Hotel

Coming to Shuishang Yadan, I didn't want to rush back and forth, so I chose this Starship Yadan Future City Luxury Camp. In the vast Gobi desert, to have such accommodation conditions, the overall experience was quite a pleasant surprise. The camp's space capsule design is very futuristic, and it looks especially good in aerial photos. It's very close to the Shuishang Yadan scenic area, just a few minutes' drive away, so there's no need for a long round trip, which is really convenient. We stayed in a stargazing room with a panoramic skylight, where we could lie in bed and wait to watch the Milky Way. At night, surrounded by Yadan landforms, the atmosphere was simply incredible. You can park your car directly in front of the room, which makes loading and unloading luggage super convenient and very friendly for long-distance self-driving trips. The room amenities are complete, with stable hot water and even a humidifier to alleviate the dryness of the Gobi, making the高原 stay not too uncomfortable. In the evenings, the camp hosts bonfire parties, and occasionally there are fireworks. Having some excitement in the deserted wilderness really helps to dissipate travel fatigue. The breakfast selection isn't particularly extensive, but in such a desert area, being able to have a hot breakfast is already quite good.

The environment is just 2km from Shuishang Yadan, which is super convenient! The accommodation in the desert is excellent, clean, and the front desk staff are really nice!

The lady at the front desk upgraded our room, which we were very happy with, and we had a very comfortable stay. Right behind the hotel are vast Yadan landforms where the kids had a blast playing, and there were many seagulls to feed. It was amazing to photograph stars and watch the night sky.

One of the most comfortable hotels I've stayed at along the Qinghai-Gansu line. The room was spacious, the hot water was consistent, and the oxygen/humidifying equipment was a lifesaver for altitude sickness and fatigue. The hygiene was top-notch, it was quiet for a good night's sleep, parking was convenient, and the service was attentive. It was such a relief to get good rest after traveling through the Gobi. Highly recommended!

Not bad. The room was close to the attractions, about a 10-minute drive. You could go straight to the Water Yardang in the morning. It was a bit of a shame not to see the stars at night.

The front desk was very helpful and upgraded our room. The hotel is right next to the Uradan Water Yadan, and there's a bonfire party at night. There are also many seagulls, which was fun. We could park our car right next to the room, and having our own charging station was very convenient for getting around.

A love-hate relationship with this hotel. The location is excellent, close to the Water Yadan, making it convenient if you're driving from Lenghu Town and heading to Water Yadan the next day. It's nice to feel the breeze in the desert at night, though you can't see many stars because the lighting in the accommodation area is too strong. The rooms are fully equipped, clean, and tidy, but if it's been exposed to the sun all day, it's very difficult to cool down the room even with the air conditioning on at night; it stays extremely hot indoors. The most dramatic part was that we chose this hotel specifically for the EV charging station for our electric car, but it was broken on the day we arrived! The hotel didn't notify us in advance, and it took two days for them to find someone to repair it. There are no other charging options in the surrounding area, so if you don't have a hybrid car, you'd truly be stranded here.

There were a lot of seagulls near the room, which was fun.
