Kaibang Hotel Golmud

This is a great hotel! The rooms are spacious, which my kids loved. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The service was excellent, and all our families had a positive impression of this hotel. They even offered us fresh goji berries to try, upgraded our room type, and allowed for a late check-out.

The service was excellent, and the breakfast spread was particularly impressive, especially the freshly made beef noodles which were absolutely delicious. My child loved it and had a great time. We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

This hotel in Golmud was the best value for money we experienced during our week-long road trip in western China! 👍 The facilities and services are quite comprehensive and very clean. The front desk kindly upgraded us to a spacious deluxe room, which was very comfortable. 👍 Since the hotel's central air conditioning wasn't on yet, a thoughtful staff member brought a portable air cooler to our room. We didn't really need it at night; opening the window was more comfortable for sleeping. The only slight disappointment was the water temperature for a bath. Although the room had a bathtub and even disposable bath liners, the water was a bit too cool. The shower temperature, however, was just right. This hotel offers a wide variety of breakfast options – enough to fill you up and enjoy a good meal. Choosing this hotel in Golmud was definitely the right decision! 👍

The hotel is luxurious, and the front desk service was warm and attentive. The room was spacious, clean, and hygienic, and they even provided a complimentary deluxe breakfast. The view from the window was also beautiful.

Stayed two nights in Golmud, and for the second night, I specifically upgraded to a more expensive hotel because it had a bathtub. When checking in, I even asked the front desk if the room had been upgraded, and they told me it was already the best room type. However, after enjoying a bath, I went to take a shower and a problem arose – the shower head was barely dripping, like a trickle of tears! I quickly finished my shower and immediately contacted Ctrip's dedicated customer service to complain. Even though it was almost midnight, the Ctrip representative was very helpful in relaying my feedback! Finally, the hotel offered to change our room, but since it was already past midnight, my friend and I just wanted to get some rest, so we declined the offer. Ctrip also informed me that the hotel had apologized. I felt compelled to leave this review to remind the hotel of the importance of routine maintenance checks. The hotel's facilities and room setup were otherwise quite good, but one faulty shower head ruined the entire experience! Let this be a lesson.
