Hotel Torre Del Conde ★★★
"Just spent six nights here as part of a group walking tour. Having read the reviews below, I was pleased to find a well functioning three star hotel in a great location in San Sebastián. Our room was of reasonable size and looked out on the park behind the hotel. Although there wasn’t a kettle there was a fridge and a safe. Good walk-in shower and air con. Comfortable bed. Plenty of cupboard space. Good breakfast including cereal, fruit, yoghurt and hot stuff. There’s a supermarket almost next door for sorting out your picnic lunch and plenty of bars and restaurants around for the evening. Walking distance from the ferry. Unsurprisingly the hotel is very popular with walking and biking groups. A good place for our stay. Thank you."
Bancal Hotel and Spa ★★★★
"Very clean, top service and beautiful area/ property"
Pensión Amparo Las Hayas ★★★
"Where to start... We arrived and found an old apartment with pine furniture from the 80s that was dismantled, the window in the room without blinds or shutters and with an almost transparent curtain so the light let in in the morning... The bathroom without a shelf or cabinet for toothbrushes or toiletries, the kitchen without a microwave or oven and gas stove, an extremely uncomfortable armchair that when I bought it I imagine would have foam, a washing machine with a maximum spin speed of 400 rpm so the clothes were dripping, there was no clothesline or clothespins. And finally, the windows did not close after calling to solve this problem, having to listen with bad manners to a "through a little window" from the girl who answered the phone and wait about 2 hours, a very nice guy arrived and solved it in 2 minutes. As for the restaurant, the goat was very tasty, the wrinkled potatoes... 3, cold and without mojo (which we had to ask them to take out for us). Not at all recommended."
Parador de La Gomera ★★★★
"Stunning hotel overlooking the coast and San Sebastian. Traditional decor throughout. Very nice pool area with plenty of sunbeds available (unsure if this would be the case in peak season, if there is one on La Gomera). No pool bar however. We did have an issue of building work next to our room during our stay but it didn't really affect us. Not an issue for us but the hotel is about 65m above sea level meaning that there is an 10-15 min uphill walk back to the hotel from the town."
Suites & Villas Los Telares ★★★
"If you want to get away from it all, this is the ideal place. Quiet and with beautiful views! And very friendly service. If I had to find a fault, it would be that I couldn't try the pool because it was cold and cloudy, but for the time of year it's normal. The stay was wonderful! I'll be back."
Hotel Rural Triana ★★★
"A great base for a walking holiday. The staff running the hotel are very friendly. Rooms are adequate with comfortable beds. Our room facing the inner courtyard was rather dark with a downstairs sitting area and bathroom. Bedroom was accessed by climbing a spiral staircase. If anyone has mobility issues I would request not to be allocated one of these rooms. There are other courtyard facing rooms with the bed downstairs. Rooms facing the front do have some traffic noise so worth bearing in mind if you are sensitive to this. The hotel only provides breakfast but there are at least 2 good restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Valhermosso is a superb base for a walking holiday if you don’t have a car. There are buses and taxis in the village. To summarise I would say this hotel is fine for short stays when on a walking holiday."
Hotel Jardín Tecina ★★★★
"We arrived late in the evening and whilst our lugage was transported to our rooms it was left to ourselves to find our way to our cabin. The hotel is situated on a step hill with many rough stone stairways and slopes. So pick your room carefully if you have mobility issues. Our room was at the very bottom of the hill at the cliff edge. Magnificent views out to sea and the village below. The hotel is well maintained and looks to have had a recent renovation. The recepetion area is spacious with multilayer seating and bar area. There are many activity rooms and a theatre which featured nightly entertainment mostly from the in-house team which to be honest was rather amateurish. The rooms are more akin to a little apartment with its own outside seating area and very attractive. The cleanliness and staff were excellent. The brochure over plays the dining facilities with the amount of resturants which were few, small and therefore difficult to reserve. There were, however 2 huge buffet cafeteria areas which were usually very crowded and understaffed. There is very little to do on the Island unless you are a walker/hiker but the hotel has many amenities and activities. Tennis, Padel, gym, fitness classes, lectures and talks etc. The hotel's 18 hole golf course is first class. You play down the hillside after a 10 minute buggy ride to the top. EXCELLENT. The pools and sunbathing areas were very clean with lifegaurads and a safe pool for children."
Hotel la Colombina ★★★
"Price quality was alright considering the other alternatives but could be better beds."
Residencial El Llano ★★★
"Beautiful hotel set in quite side street of small seaside town of Valle Gran Ray. Room and appartments set around a tropical garden and swimming pool. Everything is pristine and clean. The pool area has plenty of sun beds all surrounded by tropical plants and trees, birds sing, tranquility and peacefulness surround you. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room and garden. Appartment was spacious, clean and modern with all facilities you'd expect. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is a short walk from the supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants and seafront. I'd highly recommend. "

Bahía de Ávalos
"We arrived today, and we left as quickly as we arrived! This is not a hotel! A humble guesthouse is a thousand times better. No reception, no one answers the phone, absolutely shabby. No service whatsoever. I hope no one else books at this "place," and if you've been scammed like we were, report it!"
Casas Rurales Amparo Las Hayas
"Its alright! Location is not the best but has parking and its quite big! In winter it was cold inside and outside; summer might be more nicer."
