Coziness and Swiss tradition all around. Everything is perfect, staff, food, location. The attention to the details is very appreciate. Can’t wait to be back also in summer for living the hotel in a different way. I really suggest this stay!

Great boutique hotel, we had a great experience. The rooms are updated and clean, the check in and check out process was flawless and the breakfast buffet was great. Unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to use the spa, but look forward to going back and have more time to enjoy the amenities.

Wonderfully decorated, incredibly large Sauna, super clean, fantastic food. The overall styling is Traditional Switzerland decor with a modern twist. We are in our 40’s and honeymooning. Loved our experience.

What a chef, Peter. And the Schmitte is also highly recommended for wine and cigar lovers. We are excited about the future with Huus Quell. An amazing project, probably unique in terms of sustainability, wellness and lifestyle.

The hotel is very nice and very comfortable. The restaurant is very good. The breakfast is excellent (croissant, cheese, eggs). We get a train card, and the train station is 2 min walk from the hotrl.

Perfect! From location to the staff, our business trip was perfect. We all recommend you to stay at this hotel. Rooms, restaurant, wine…and the chocolat that we found in our room…just a dream! The staff so friendly and competent..we thank you all!

Excellent boutique hotel, close to many hiking routes. Very good service and good quality breakfast with fresh seasonal fruit and cheese and ham from the region. Service was excellent, particularly Monica! Hotel was very clean, the rooms very nice and modern with good showers. We will be back.

Great hotel with friendly staff including very good food - we will be back! The surroundings are unique and we were greeted and pampered everywhere. With the holiday pass we were able to enjoy so many highlights and traveling in Appenzellerland was so convenient.

When I made the reservation, I was not informed that the hotel was a construction site with dirt and workmen. View of a large construction site. Guests must use the workmen's entrance.
