We had an amazing stay at Divan Cave House! The hotel sits on a quiet hill in Göreme with beautiful panoramic views of the town and hot air balloons at sunrise. The cave rooms were spacious, clean, and full of character, blending traditional charm with modern comfort. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful — always ready to assist with balloon bookings, transfers, and local recommendations. Breakfast was lovely, with a wide selection of fresh items served on the rooftop terrace, where you can also enjoy a perfect view of the balloons in the morning. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the town center, restaurants, and shops, yet far enough for peace and quiet. The cave atmosphere felt truly authentic and cozy, especially in the cool October weather. Highly recommend Divan Cave House for anyone visiting Cappadocia — it’s a warm, welcoming, and memorable stay that captures the spirit of the region perfectly.

The room was great, the location excellent, and the ambiance delightful. The terrace offered fantastic hot air balloon views, which was truly amazing. As for the room, it wasn't as damp as I'd expected from a cave hotel. It was a bit dim, but perfectly acceptable. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Such an amazing experience in a genuine cave hotel. We had a very nice and cosy room with good air con which is a must during summer. The hotel has a beautiful terrace which is a breathtaking viewpoint for the hot air balloons in the morning. Even at night, the terrace has a fantastic view of Goreme. The breakfast is honestly one of the best complimentary breakfasts I have ever had at any hotel, with very traditional Turkish mezze, great bread, sweets and other delicious food! The staff were super warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend booking a stay here!

We traveled with our dog so we love that Divan Cave House is pet friendly. Our room was spacious enough and comfortable and we loved all the terraces for lounging and watching the hot air balloons early in the morning. Breakfast was very good and had an excellent view if you sat out on the balcony. Staff was very friendly. Location, being about a 7 minute walk from main streets of Goreme, was also great. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perched on a hill, the hotel offers truly spectacular views. You can enjoy watching hot air balloons from the lovely rooftop. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathroom, in particular, seemed to have been recently renovated and was spotless. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, offering a beautiful panoramic view of the town. It’s situated on one of the best streets in Göreme. Upon arrival, the staff gave us a warm welcome and provided information about the town, available tours, and dining options, which made settling in very easy. The rooftop restaurant was amazing with breathtaking views. The hotel also features several small terraces, adding to its charm, while the main terrace is spacious, vibrant and perfect for relaxing with a drink while taking in the stunning scenery. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. Overall, this hotel provided a memorable and enjoyable stay—we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Göreme.

12/10 experience and would definitely recommend this hotel! It was our first time visiting Cappadocia and we were looking for a luxury cave room experience with an authentic Turkish rooftop terrace. The customer service at the hotel was exceptional - very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Even when we had checked out, they still displayed the same faultless level of service. We had requested to move to a quieter room and the hotel provided us with an upgrade. They were also very helpful in arranging airport transfers and Ferhad assisted us with our luggage to our room and throughout the hotel. He made us feel very welcome. The breakfast terrace (separate from the rooftop terrace) had a beautiful view and offered a great selection of traditional Turkish breakfast, overlooking the beautiful Göreme. The hotel itself is located at the most elevated part of the town and their rooftop terrace is spread over three floors - it offers the most amazing view of the hot air balloons at sunrise and is spacious enough for guests to take pictures without feeling crammed. They also offered free Turkish tea throughout our stay!

Overall, I'd say it was just alright. The location was decent as well, and it's quite high up.

Had a lot of wifi issue, had to constantly call them to fix since there was no phone service in the room too. Rest everything was nice, breakfast spread and service in restaurant was good!

The location is perfect for the hot air balloon watching. Amenities are also perfect, eventhough they don’t have a kitchen, they still offer buffet turkish breakfast and suggested restaurants to try out. Staff are also very accommodating and helpful. We’ll definitely come back!

It was a wonderful experience. Perfect location to view the balloons. The hotel was clean and all the staff was so friendly and welcoming. I would stay again.
