숙소는 많이 낡았지만 내부는 깨끗하고 난방도 잘 되어 좋았어요 다만, 숙소 주변에 갈 만한 곳이 없더라구요 음식점도 횟집 하나있고 좀 더 걸어가봐도 별 다른덴 없었어요 숙소 안에 애슐리가 왜 있는지 이해가 가더라구요 근데, 저녁 음식상태는 점심때 남은걸 다시 조리한건가 싶게 안 좋았어요 음식 표면이 마르거나 싱싱도가 많이 떨어졌어요 오히려 다음날 조식은 괜찮았구요 그래도 이 가격에 조용히 바다를 보고 지낼 수 있어 주변 설악산여행으로는 할 만하다 생각이 듭니다

시설이 낡고 특히 문이 닫힐때마다 콰앙 소리가 나서 밤에 다른 객실들 문소리에 잠이 깬 적이 여러번입니다. 화장실 배수나 환기도 잘 안되어 2박은 쾌적하지 못했습니다

호텔 위치 너무좋아요 속초 중앙시장과도 가깝고(15분 이내), 바다뷰는 정말 최고죠~~ 비도오고 눈도 와서(폭설) 맑은 뷰는 볼 수 없어서 아쉬웠어요 직원분들 모두다 너무 친절하시고 침구도 최고입니다 다만 오래된 건물이다보니 리노베이션 된 룸은 뭔가 조금 아쉽긴했지만 깨끗하고 산뜻했어요 ㅎㅎ 바의자에 앉아 티타임, 와인타임도 최고였네요~^^ 아이도 너무 좋아했어요 방이 두개라서 혼자 방 하나 차지하고 놀더라구요 다시 방문하고 싶어요 다음엔 여름에요~~^^

해변이 바로 앞이라 산책하며 파도소리도 듣고~ 속초에서도 가까워 설악산과 고성 바닷가 모두 접근성이 좋았다 첫날은 3층은 프리미어 오션뷰, 둘째날은 4층 켄싱턴 프리미어 오션뷰 같은 종류의 객실인줄 알고 각각 다른 날 예약하게 되어 같은 객실로 이틀 달라했더니 켄싱턴이 앞에 붙은 객실만 리뉴얼 된거란다. 거족여행이라 업그레이드 하겠다하니 남은 객실이 없다하여 할 수 없이 둘째날 체크아웃 하고 짐을 맡기고 나갔다와서 다시 체크인을 해야했다. 그래도 직원분들이 친절했고 노블로 업그레이드 해주어 가족들이 매우 만족하고 잘쉬고 와서 고마웠다
