1692 Wasdale

Myself and my partner stayed for three nights as a birthday trip in the lake district. Firstly, Faith and her team were outstanding. The little touches from the home baked shortbread, chocolates on the pillow and fresh cakes each afternoon, made the stay extra special. The decoration of the property was beautiful, with great care and attention made to every detail. The room had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever stayed at, a wonderful open plan bathroom with high quality toiletries provided, a standalone bathtub and rainfall shower. Breakfast each morning was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. There is a hot tub on the property which you can reserve and makes for an excellent experience after a long day's walk. Undoubtedly one of the best B&Bs I've stayed at, and would recommend anyone looking for somewhere to stay to book here! Thanks again to Faith and everyone else for making the weekend so enjoyable.

This is the best b&b I have ever stayed in. Wonderfully up market without being silly with their prices. The honesty bar is perfectly stocked and the dog friendly room we had was brilliant. The breakfast is next level. I've never had a cooked breakfast cooked to such perfection before, and the choice of ingredients were top notch. This will be out #1 lake district walking base for the future. Faith and the team, please don't change a thing !

We have just returned from our second stay at 1692 Wasdale. We love it and would highly recommend. Beautifully fitted and super comfortable rooms (they are just like they are in the pictures), excellent breakfast, kind and attentive people - all set in stunning Wasdale countryside. Peaceful. What is not to like?

This place was amazing! I had booked it for an engagement get away after I had proposed. The rooms are unique, with brilliant views and has a private feel to it. The rooms are expensive, but the experience I had had was brilliant. The food for breakfast was amazing, and we were well looked after. Faith was excellent in communicating and accommodated our every need. Will be staying again!

Wife stayed as a mid week break . Absolutely loved this hotel . Amazing owners and everything was spotless. Amazing views, brilliant room and a beautiful breakfast that was cooked fresh to order. Also a great continental selection. She was so impressed, she wants to book again for the both of us to go .
